Late Aug/Early Sept photopass?

I've posted this before but I think my post got lost.

Anyway...I'm really interested in a photopass share for my Aug 26-Sept 5 trip. I'm nervous to set a group up myself as I've never done. I'm hoping to have a share with other Canadians!

Hey there - I live close by! We did a photopass share last year, someone else organized it, but it worked well for us. There were about 6 of us in it, so the price was really reasonable. Closer to your trip you'll see many photopass share offers on the budget board. There must have been about 12 during this timeframe last year and I haven't heard any bad feedback about them.

I'd be interested, but we are considering moving our trip to November and that would be well out of the timeframe. If we don't change I'll let you know!

Same here ... 2 weeks planned August 23 - September 6, but I'm not really clear on sharing either.

The one that I was in was arranged by a leader who collected an amount from each person for CD copying and mailing as well as their share of the photopass. I think I paid around $20. I would never have done it on my own because we are photographers (amateur) and we have three people in our family and we carry three good cameras. I really liked having the option to get pictures taken at the water parks and in front of the landmarks, though...especially because we would rarely get a picture of all three of us together if we didn't!

The person who led the group registered with photopass and gave everyone the username and password once they'd paid her and we all agreed to a timeframe to upload our card numbers to attach to the account and then modify our pictures. When the timeframe had passed, the leader ordered the CD and any supplementals and then when she received the CD she copied it and mailed it out to each of us. I was really pleased with it because she even asked for descriptions of everyone and made sure our CD's only had our own pictures on them. She went to some extra trouble for that. There is no limit to the number of pictures on an order, so some people had 300+ pictures and some had even had private photo sessions taken. I enjoyed looking at other people's pictures because it gave me some ideas for our next trip, however I was glad to not have their pictures for keeps!

I used one card from the waterpark because it attached to my lanyard so well for the entire trip but I would recommend taking pictures of any and all photopass cards you use because if you lose one then you've lost the corresponding code for those pictures. It was fun and we really liked most of the pictures...you have to be careful that the photographers take enough time with you because sometimes there are many people in line and if the sun is in your eyes you stand the chance of not having the best shot!

Would love to be part of a Photopass share, as I'm not sure I can convince DH to let me get the Photopass twice in the same year (we just went in January). Let's face it, even with the $99 pre-order savings, it adds us when you times it by 2 in just seven months!
(and add in our exchange rate ).

We've been at WDW the last few yrs in Aug-Sept for the free meal plan we are planning to again this year, do you know when we the booking for it will start this year??
