Late arrival at RPH

Hi,

Our flight was pushed out 2 hours so we will not be arriving at MCO until 7:30PM on the Tuesday after Easter and so it looks like we would be checking in at RPH around 8:30 or so... Should I be concerned about overbooking?? Will I be stuck with the worst room? Is there anything I can do ahead of time to make sure that I have a decent room? Or am I worried about nothing?

Fax them and tell them you will be arriving late and request a specific room. Be very nice. You can check the room assignment thread for ideas on which room would work best for you.

This happened to us last week. When we got there, our room was turned down and we had a fruit basket, two bottles of Fiji Water on ice and a little shell necklace. We are platinum members, so that probably made a difference, but it does show that they paid attention to our fax!

I am also looking for a standard king room. If someone knows of one that has a decent view, I would appreciate it if you could let me know. Last time, we had a view of I-4 and since it's a suprise birthday present for my hubby I was hoping to have an actual room to request. Thanks!
