Looking at going in late April 2020, a couple of weeks after Easter.

I was thinking about booking Royal Pacific for one night to get express passes and early entry - do you think these would be needed?

We wil probably only do 2 days here and potentially a third day if we feel like it. Do you think this would be enough with express passes? We will be going with my mum who can’t do a lot of rides for health reasons so we don’t want her to spend too much time alone.

That sounds right to me. April could still be public school spring break, so you'll want express pass and early entry.
