late April / early May historical discounts

Hi. I'm trying to convince my DH that we should take advantage of free dining this fall - and the chance that they might extend the current dates makes that a little more likely - but he's been leaning toward wanting to combine a disney trip with the visit we've been making each year to my parents on the gulf coast, which would mean going most likely in late April, maybe early May.

Historically, what kind of discount has been available for this time period? I know it is an expensive season to start with, and my DS will be 3 by then which will also increase costs, but I'd like to be able to think in more realistic numbers.

There were room only discounts offered through early June for this period this year. We have booked a trip April 30 to May 5th, 2014 and the rates are lower than the spring break rates. I'm hoping for a good discount to be offered for 2014. We went to WDW this same period in 2011 and we had a 30% off room discount.

Thanks for the info. Now most to see if I can get him to sit down and talk about it. If chances are that we will have the o option of some type of Good discount then it's just a matter of which one we'd rather do!
