Late ADRs a problem?

Ok, I was already worried about this but now I'm really concerned after reading this thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=938703 .

We have an 8:45 ADR for Chefs de France and I think they close at 9. What are your experiences with late ADRs at Disney restaurants (not just Chefs). Are they packing up around you? Are the staff tired and cranky? Is the place empty? Are they starting to wash dishes and vacuum the floor, and hovering over your shoulder with the check?

I had assume that a 9 p.m. close meant they would take not more walk-ins or ADRs after that time, but would still be going strong until at least 10. Am I wrong?

I have been in several of the WDW restaurants at park closing. They do not push you to get out. If it happens to be a meal with characters you can get a lot of character time (this was just an aside, I know CdF does not have characters). Normally they don't start pushing people out of the parks until about an hour after scheduled closing. You stay at the restaurant until you are done and then have a leisurely walk out.

I can tell you from experience that Chefs de France will be open well after Illuminations is over with. I know because we were on our way out after taking a long time finding pressed penny machines (it was our last night and the granddaughter wanted more). It must have been past 9:45 when we went by Chefs de France. My daughter-in-law wondered out loud if I thought she could go in and get a picture of a true French chef with his hat on. Her cousin's husband is in culinary school. I said "this is Disney World, just ask". My son told her to take her daughter along with her "because no one can resist her". They were not only escorted to talk to a chef and get the picture, but the granddaughter was instructed on how to serve water to the patrons and was given her own chef's hat so she could do just that. They were in there for about a half hour. So you won't have a problem at all.
