Last years TARGET's gift card promo/ Disney Gift Cards

Last year TARGET had a promo of 10% their Target gif cards,

Does anyone remember if other store cards were included, including DISNEY gift cards?

Were there any other Disney Gift card promo's last year?

I want to buy $1000 worth for my own personal use for upcoming trip. Hoping to save at least 10%!!

It was only the Target cards. It was a Black Friday promotion. You can get 5% off Disney gc using Target's Red Card.

There is a deal this week which may work (lots of discussion of it on another thread). I got a sneak peak of next week's ad on Sunday and they are offering a $5 Target gift card with purchase of two $50 Disney gift cards. With red card, that's a 10% discount. Sale should start 12/6.

I don't remember that promo, but if thy run it again, you could just buy $1000 in target gift cards and then use them to purchase disney gift cards.
I do remember a $10 target gift card with a $50 purchase promo , so everyone was buying $50 disney gift cards and getting the $10 target gift card each time, then turning around and using those gift cards to buy more disney gift cards. that was 20% savings - I'm hoping for that promo again!

Do you think this deal will work online as well or did the ad say store only. I want to convert $800 in Target gift cards to Disney to buy our tickets for the end of February. With the Redcard online, this would be 10% on conversion.

I hope so but doubt it. The Bass Pro shop $25 cards which are part of this week's deals don't have the promo online. I'll definitely be checking online first thing Sunday morning though.

I thought that promo was limit one per customer and a lot of people worked the system. I doubt we'll see that again (very few Target coupons don't explicitly exclude entertainment cards these days).

Yeah, I am trying to decide if I want to try and find a Target with $25 Disney cards and attempt to purchase $800 worth with gift cards and hope they might honor the $5 Target gift card promo in the ad. I did get $200 in Chipotle earlier this week, but I paid with my Redcard. It just seems like too much of a stretch, but maybe I will go today and give it a shot. If it doesn't work, then I can just wait until Sunday.

The promo last year was limited to $300 in Target cards per person.

Last year, I was able to buy $300 in target gift cards for $270, then go to the store to buy $300 in disney gift cards. (I don't bother with the red card). 300 was the max allowed.
