Last week of TDS pins - What's your plan??

What time does your TDS open this saturday - mine opens at 9am
What time do you plan to be there? I haven't decided yet?

As of yesterday, my TDS had 76 of the state pins already and expected to receive more by Wednesday.

Can you believe after enjoying the excitement and thrill of the hunt that she is going away again this week and leaving me to do HER dirty work.
I have to be in work at 8. How do I explain to the nurse who worked all night that I might be late because I was at the bottom of the pile of people groping for pins?
I will let you know if I come up with a plan. Maybe I can get Cynthia to do it! Sounds like a plan to me. Pass the buck. Peggie

No can do

Just as I thought I wouldn't have to work so I would be able to be there. I realized that I need to be at our church at 9:00 (TDS doesn't open till 10) for our Angel Tree Christmas Party. Oh well, I haven't made it yet I guess I will have to miss the best fun of all!!!

BTW, Thanks to those who helped me get pins in weeks past. If by any chance there are more then 2 pins available per person and someone has an extra state pin I would be willing to buy or trade for it.

It's not my falt that some marketing wizard at Disney decided to sell pins at TDS on the weekend of the Marsh family's traditional and annual visit to the Windy City. I was going to Chicago on this weekend long before they started selling pins at TDS! Seems to me that they could have made a quick phone to me to make sure these weekends were ok....

Looking forward to hearing how it all goes on Saturday..maybe I'll be able to get a couple of Illinois pins.

Well part of my plan is to get as many MN pins as I can so I can get some different states. Hmmmmm....I see a new thread starting here soon regarding this....

Same as I have been doing since this series started -- Buy, Buy, Buy.
Both Omaha TDS open at 7:00 am. The store I usually go to is not limiting the # of state pins per person. They had 72 that I last heard.
The other store is limiting the state pins at two per person and will not allow guests to get back into line to buy more.
And then there is always the Lincoln store.
Both stores say they have enough pins. No shortages! A Christmas miracle!

Your TDS better be limiting those State pins to 1 per person -- that is the company directive and the store SM can get into a heap-o-trouble by not following the guidelines on something like this.

And besides -- if they don't limit it at least the first day , some yahoo may buy 25 of them so there are none left for those last in line (like the Walt Birthday pin at WDW on 12/5/01)...

Only 1 per person. NOw that is darn right bad. Why not two like it has been with everything else? We were getting 4. Guess I run around and get back in line.

I plan on going in on Friday and hiding in the stuffed toy pit Seriously probably go to Tim Hortin's and pick up a pack of timbits to enjoy the last saturday

No shortage of state pins at our store. The SM said she got 200 MD pins. We still have Walt lockets and 5 of the 7 dwarfs left.

I just phoned my Disney Store, and the manager said there was a limit of one state pin per person.

Just called my DS and they said that we can buy 2 and get back in line. Then Sunday we can buy as many as we want. They said there isn't a big run on them (like I knew).

"See" y'all tomorrow at 9am at TDS! LOL!
