It was so magical today. We received a little packet in the mail and lo and behold there were our luggage tags. Such a surprise...I hadn't expected to receive anything. They are so awesome with the hologram of the fireworks. I'm afraid to put them on my luggage and risk something happening to them.

I know what ya mean about something happening to the luggage tags! We got those tags yesterday too! I told my family we're putting those on our carry on bags so they don't get lost!

I'm using the hologram tags for inside my luggage - so they remain nice. I'll use regular luggage tags for the outside.

We're going too. We have a Grand Gathering staying at POP 9/21 through 10/1. It will be me, DH, DD 33, her DH, DGD 2, DGS 8 mos, DD 29, her DH, DGDs 3 & 1, BIL & SIL.

We received 4 of them. Two are staying home as souvenirs and the other two we are using on each of our daughters (twin DD4) belt loops as identification tags with relevant information (i.e. name, age, parent, resort info, cell phone number, etc...). We figure this should catch any guest or CM's attention pretty quick if my wife and I wander off without them.

This is our first family trip to Disney. 17 days away and i'm already too excited too sleep. I'm DW, going with my DH, Ds9, and DD4. We are staying at CBR. Checking in on September 24 staying until Sept 30. Only have reservations for CP breakfast, HDD, and H&V. Any recomendations ??

I've made my packing list so I don't forget anything, and I think I've got everything on it, I won't actually start packing.......YET I've consulted with the teacher's at school so all schoolwork will be ready to go with the oldest two kids, everythings all paid. Arrangements are made for dogsitter, cat sitter, and someone to pick up our mail too.

But it it's just a little loop of plastic, slide one end thru the hole on the luggage tag, wrap around your luggage handle or whatever, open the loop and slide the other end thru the hole and tighten? That doesn't sound like it makes sense.............not even to me!

YIPPEEE for you (and me too!) I've notified my triplet's teachers we'll be gone (the teachers are going to send home the work AFTER our trip so the kids don't have to worry about it while we're gone), lined up my subs for school, DH has let his boss know, we're paid in full, have confirmed all ADRs with Disney Dining, have someone to check the mail and care for our cat. Still need to stop the newspaper and pack. I'm so excited for all of us!

I'm so lucky....DD's each have purchased a house in the same block as our's so I don't have to worry about the pet sitters...they live in the neighborhood. They will get our newspapers and mail for us, check on the house etc. Hopefully DS and DDIL have notified the school that DGS will be missing a week of school. He is in Kindergarten so it shouldn't be a big problem. I've got piles of stuff set aside for the trip but I do need to start organizing. Oh Boy Oh Boy...it's coming soon. Hurricanes Hurricanes blow the other way!

Hey, we'll be there too. I haven't seen too many staying at CBR. It will be me, husband, and DS4. Check in the 24th until Oct. 1st. Look for our lime green mickey heads!

I did that, but it seem so... unsecure for such a nice tag. I'll just duct tape them on, that fixes everything.


My DS's first grade teacher called tonight and she's just fine with him taking a week off. w00t. All she wants him to do is keep a journal which we planned on anyways. 16 more days.

We're only going for 3 nights so taking my DD8 out of school shouldn't be too big of a deal. I already warned her teacher at orientation and he's fine with it (he was MY 4th grade teacher back in 1979-1980 when he first got out of college and now he's my DD's 3rd grade teacher! )

This is our first trip to Disney since DD was 3 so I really want it to be special, even if it will be too short (aren't they all?!) I've been "pre-packing" in a large tote bag all the little things I've been collecting along the way (glow sticks, extra memory cards, rain ponchos, mister fans...) This weekend I will "officially" start packing everything that won't be needed before our trip. And I can't wait!!!

Guess I'd better hurry up and finish those MNSSHP costumes . I've been putting it off so the remaining weeks before our trip will go faster and now that we're officially under the 3 week mark, I'd better kick it into gear! Before I know it, it will be 2 weeks, then one week, then the week of...YIPEE!!!

Count us in, too! 9/30 - 10/8...my wife and I...adults only trip, first time at Pop, and FREE Dining. Does it get any better???

Started backing today! We'll at least washing Disney clothes and putting them in rows and such. I have to lay them out to see what both kids are wearing on one day. lol.
We leave two weeks from today! DD4 wears uniforms, so she won't need many outfits til then. DS may need to wear some of his shorts, but I'll have to do a load for DH and myself anyway.
