Last week of April or 3rd week of May?

Hi, we are trying to decide when to go for our next family trip to WDW. Our options right now seem to be last week of April 2005 or 3rd week of May. What is the difference in crowds, heat, hours etc.? We have been before at end of May but never earlier in spring. Our spring break is week before last week in April (ends on April 22nd) but I have heard spring break crowds are still high that week. We went in Dec in 2002 & so are spoiled by low crowds & would hate to have it wall to wall ppl.

I think it may be significantly more crowded in April with spring breaks than in May so you might be better off sticking with May! Good luck!

I think either week would work out well since Easter is at the end of March in 2005. The weather would be cooler the end of April, the humidity starts arriving by the end of May. So it's really a toss up. Most of the spring breaks are done by the last week in April and so I don't believe it will be really crowded. If I had to choose I would say, the last week in April, it maybe a little more crowded but the weather will be much more pleasant.

We usually go the last week of APRIL and really like it then. The weather is perfect and if its not EASTER the crowds are very manageable.
