First day of a 2 wk trip, we stay at DWL for 5 nights then to BCL for 9. Got in around noon and did the online check in........didn't really see any time savings but I suppose if it was a long line in the other it would have saved time. Room was not ready so we went swiming and called about an hour later and it was ready. Never been to DWL for a stay before.........NICE PLACE. We are in room 4557 (2br) carpet looks new but everything else is about the same as the other places.
Love our APs, the feeling of hey lets just go to the parks for a few hours and not feel like you are using a "day" of a ticket, not sure if that makes sense or not
Got to MK about 5pm and it seemed pretty busy especially for a Tuesday night, but not overwhelming. We usually go in the offseason and have enjoyed the small crowds. Another bonus of DVC, we don't comando anything...if we see long lines we just walk around and know hey there will be other opportunities. DVC and an AP just really makes our trips very very relaxing.
Someone else mentioned earlier that the literature at the park for times open didn't match, we ran into the same thing. They added a 10pm specrtomagic show and stayed open an extra hour. Which was AWESOME because my daughter was crying when she found out we missed it. I can't blame her as we had been up since 4 am to head to the airport. Turned out awesome because not many people were out and we had front row seats in liberty square (probably best place to watch a parade).
Not the greatest pics but hopefully enough to get people excited about their upcoming trips. I know I love looking at pics:
