Last Trip? It was until we met Food & Wine -- Recap 2/12

It's been a long time since we have done the river boat too....not even sure if Claire has done it. We should make time for it and just relax.

MK looks a lot less crowded this day than earlier in the week.

We've been in MK who knows how many times and have never done the riverboat. We probably won't do it next trip either. :rotfl2:

Sad your trip is coming to an end.... maybe now I can work on finishing mine. :rolleyes2

:scared1: You have a TR? Where was MY invite??? :confused3 :(

Hey Kathy! I'm catching up just like I promised!!

I have never been to Liberty Tree Tavern and I'm dying to try it. Y'alls lunch looked amazing! Especially the pot roast.
I loved seeing pictures of the new Festival of Lion King theatre, we didn't get a chance to see the show this trip.
We had never seen the Finding Nemo musical, and we loved it too! You got some great pictures. Also, I love all of the photopass pictures too.
I totally agree with you on the new Test Track, I am just not a fan. I'm a sucker for the old one, it was so much more exciting...
We LOVED Food and Wine! I'm so glad you guys got to experience it. We spent a whole day eating around the world and we were very surprised at all of the food options.
I absolutely love Epcot at night and you got some really great pictures!

I'm almost done catching up! Can't wait to hear about more MK and Food and Wine.

You guys got a lot done that last day!

We did...and I was very happy about that.

I've never stopped to look for the Pascal's yet. I need to do that sometime. How many did you end up finding? I heard they were hard to spot.

We saw three.

I love riding the Liberty Belle, it's kind of relaxing and a nice way to take a break. I actually rode it at night when I was there in December. That was quite a different experience.

I was glad we finally got to do it after many years; I don't think I knew it went at night.

Cute selfie in the Tiki Room! Hope you didn't have any crazy kids near you. :rotfl:

Thanks; it was a packed house that day but no crazy kids. :)

Pirates is always great but so sad that Mark didn't have any one to sword fight with.

He survived.

I'm pretty sure I know where you are headed for lunch. ::yes::

I bet you do.

What a busy day! You got a lot done that day.

It was; but it was a fun busy.

I have never seen performers out in front of the Beast's Castle. We need to keep our eyes peeled when we are next there.

That was the first time I had seen them in a couple of years.

A healthy option at Disney for Mark? Doesn't he know that there are NO calories at Disney. ;) Honestly, I have found myself craving a healthier opion sometimes, but I cannot have some of the fruit in their fruitbowl and I do not eat melon. :sad2:

The man has his "health" moments. :rotfl2:

Love all your DISmeets. So much fun! :thumbsup2

Thanks; I love meeting DISer's.

Oh how I do NOT want this TR to end. I always enjoy your visits to WDW, mainly because you and Mark always have such a good time no matter what's in the cards. (Go with the flow like I am.)

Awww...thanks, friend. We certainly do try.

I've been following but not posting, so I have a few comments from older posts I caught up with the other day. The t-shirt Mark had on that his favorite Disney princess was his wife is priceless!

No worries; isn't that a great shirt? I couldn't resist it.

I agree that the Crystal Palace is my favorite character breakfast. I like that the tables aren't on top of one another, the food and of course the characters.

I agree; and the food is much better than some of the other buffets.

Your last day is jam packed full of things you did, and it's not over? We've always left in the morning to go home (I don't know why), but seeing your TR's where you usually finish out spending time at the parks has me thinking differently if I ever get back.

We have a bit more going on, but no more attractions I don't think.

Read you soon! :surfweb:

Thanks.

Awwww, I love that you got recognized by a DISer. And the "Hat Man"... yup, that's right. :thumbsup2

Is there any other way to describe Mark? :lmao:

Hidden Pascal hunt is definitely on the agenda. I've found a few, but I want to find them all. It could be a long day.

Rob, do you know how many total there are?

Oh Mark.... Fruit Cups??? You're on vacation!!!! :rotfl2:

Isn't he :goofy:?

I sure do hope and plan to still go to Disney when/if I'm 90. That's so awesome!

And that Grandma looked really good for 90!

And goodness, ANOTHER DISmeet!!! How wonderful. :goodvibes

It was fun having so many DIS meets, an unexpected ones too. :goodvibes

Looks like some nice afternoon fun. ANd thanks for the reminder to make sure the Liberty River boat makes into our itinerary. I saw this post and then realized it had slipped out. I have still yet to do it (that I remember).

You should do it; it's a nice relaxing ride and we really enjoyed doing it again after so many years.

Sounds like a really nice time one the River Boat. And you hit a bunch more classics b/w Haunted Mansion, Tiki Room, and Pirates.

We were lucky with our wait times in between our FP+/

And multiple DISmeets - awesome!

They are so much fun.

Nice last day!!!! You saw a lot and you did a lot. That's how you end a trip!!!

It was really a great ending to our trip, Pat.

You even spent some time with Stitch. :rotfl2: Yes I do think he is growing on you.

Just a bit; don't tell Marv!

Love the PP magic shots, I need to get some of those. I still need to visit with Gaston. I have seen some videos and they are as hysterical as visits with the steps.

The videos with Gaston always have me :rotfl:

I loved the pictures from the riverboat. We haven't done that in years either but maybe next time. Tiki birds and Pirates are always favorites. Great report as always. I've been more of a lurker this year but do read.

Thanks, Judy. We enjoyed the riverboat, and you can't miss with Pirates (unless you get suck on it for an hour like I did in May). I'm glad you are reading. :)

Those are some great pictures from the Liberty Belle! I can't remember the last time I rode that. Very nice of you two to give up your seats.

Thanks; it was a pleasure to give up our seat...she was such a sweet lady.

You're right. That area near It's A Small World is always congested. For some reason, there are times when the crowds don't seem to move there.

You are right...they don't seem to move. I really hate being there during the afternoon.

Very cool that you were able to meet with two DISers on your last day. You and Mark are DISboard celebs!

I think everyone just thinks Mark is goofy with his hats. ;)

Cute selfies and I love your t-shirts!

Thank you.

Sweet that you got to chat with a Dis lurker! Hehe Mark as the Hat Man, pretty accurate.

It was fun and her kids were cute.

I am apparently really terrible at finding Pascals. I think I managed to find two. :lmao:

We found three; I want to find the rest now.

You guys got quite a bit done! :thumbsup2

Crowds were lite and FP helped.

Great pics from the Riverboat! It's been a few years since I've been on it, but it is a relaxing change of pace.

That's what we thought and we had missed it the last several years with it being closed.

Yayyy for another Dismeet! Wow, you'll have to tally them up at the end of the report!

I think we ended up at: Tim, Mel and family, Wendy and Johnny, Laura, Jen, lurker. I wish I could count Rob as he was nearby and said he thinks he saw Mark, but it didn't happen.

Kathy I've been on the disboards for years but rarely post, but feel a need to tell you how much I've enjoyed your trip report!

Thank you so very much; that is very sweet of you.

I feel we have a few things in common. I live northern Illinois and also had hubby lose job-I mean "laid off' after 36 years!! Basically retired now. Thank goodness I'm much younger(10+) and work full time. Raising two teenagers we haven't seen Disney for awhile

Wow....36 years and laid off. Things really need to improve. Mark is 62 and feels more on the "retired" side. His part-time job at Target and his baseball are enough for him. I'm 5 years younger than him and have been at my job 30+; 18 more months or so to go and we will both be looking for new jobs. It's expensive raising teenagers...don't miss those days at all.

I even have my husband hooked on reading your report. I'll tell him "she posted something new. You got to check it out!" We love all your pictures, Mark shirts and his happy look no matter what you're doing. With all the people you know and meet and the things you do I can tell you must be the sweetest couple traveling to Disney.:flower3:

That is so nice that your DH is reading up on my report too. Thank you for the very kind words...you warmed my heart on this cold day in Downtown Chicago.

You seem to be having a great last day! I'm not sure if I've ever done the riverboat ride (maybe when I was little). Maybe we'll take a ride on it in April - I'll be 27 weeks when we go, and will probably be wanting to rest a little more than usual!

It really was, Sarah. I think that would be ideal for you to rest your feet for a bit on the riverboat.

We wanted to do the boat for the first time and the Tiki Birds again this last trio and didn't have time for either! Isn't it crazy how much time you can spend there and not come close to seeing everything?

It really is; we always miss a few things (one or two by choice in my mind :lmao:).

You are really having a jam packed last day! The Gaston meets always look so entertaining! And you are really racking up the DISer visits this trip, wow!

Yes, Gaston was a total hoot and I want to do him again.

I'd have picked the chips too!

I knew I liked you. :)

I have never seen those performers in New Fantasyland, very interesting.

It was the first time we had seen them.

I love the Liberty Belle and what a great place to get some amazing photos, which you did.

Thanks, Cynthia.

You really got a lot done and YAY for meeting Erika!

It was so nice to meet Erika and her family. What lovely people.

I just now realized that when I last posted, you were posting too and I was behind again. It's okay though 'cause I'm caught up again. You two were on a roll on your last day and covered some major ground. The pictures of Mark on Dumbo always make me smile. He is such a big kid when it comes to riding Dumbo. The pictures with Lumiere and Sebastian are so cute! I love those!

We did cover major ground and I was so happy about it. He is a big kid ALL the time, but especially on Dumbo.

Yay for having two Dis meets! As I always say, Dis friends are THE best.

I couldn't agree more, Lisa.

What a bittersweet final day………..having to leave, but getting to do so many great things! :( :) The ferry boats over to the MK is a great way to start, but wow has the view of the Poly changed. And you made it in time for the opening show even! So glad you kept your priorities straight and stopped for a picture with Goofy before heading on to Starbucks. Who could possibly NOT love Goofy…………. :goofy:

We really did get a lot of good stuff done. I thought of you when I stopped for that picture. :)

The interaction with your favorite blue alien is priceless! :stitch2: Love that he got so many laughs out of you messing with Mark’s hat, after all, Mark’s reputation for hat pictures is renowned and he was probably just assisting by removing the current one to make room for others. :thumbsup2 And yes, you are such a good wife letting Mark beat you at Buzz. :rolleyes2 You didn’t even need him to cheat………………….. :rotfl:

The little rascal was at his best. Yes, I didn't need him to cheat this time.

Mark always looks so happy in your Disney pictures, but never any happier than when he is riding Dumbo! :dumbo: And it looks like you had a great meet with Gaston also. The picture of him giving Mark bigger muscles is hilarious! :lmao:

Dumbo will remain his love until the day he goes. Gaston was by far our best character interaction (along with the stepsisters) ever!

The PPP got some really great magic shot pictures for you. :goodvibes Other than the balloons, I don’t think I have seen any of those before.

John was the best!

Haunted Mansion is always a must do, and it has been a while since I did Liberty Belle……….might be time again. And woohoo for another DISmeet getting to meet Erika! :cool1:

I love our DIS meets.

Great updates! Looks like you were having some fun, even knowing that it was your last day in the park.

Thanks, Sarah. I don't get too sad on our last day anymore because I know we are going to see Nicki after (although this year we are reversing it so I'll probably cry when we leave Disney).

Hidden Pascals ... yay! We didn't even know to look for them last time (but we'll be hunting for them in February!)

I'll want to know how many you find.

I don't know if I've ever done Liberty Square Riverboat ... you got some great pictures!

Well, February will be a good time to try it out.

No sword fight after Pirates? Mark must have been so disappointed.

Nope; and I didn't volunteer. :guilty:

Hi Kathy!

Hi, Roni.

Oh, I love the MK opening show (I wish DL did something similar) - I haven’t seen it in such a long time. Hopefully this summer!

I'm surprised DL doesn't.

Loving all the MK pictures. It’s funny though - we haven’t been since 2013, and we have been to DLR multiple times since our last WDW vacation. I think I’m going to be befuddled at the MK this summer - everything is just slightly different from DL. I’ll be looking all over Tomorrowland for Star
Tours!

See that's what I am worried about going to DL...I won't know where anything is or even how to begin touring the parks.

Love your pictures with Stitch! What a really fun morning you were having despite it being the last visit to MK of the trip.

Stitch was in rare form that morning.

You got some really cool pictures of the Dumbo details. Loved seeing those!

I just love how they redid that ride.

Looks like a great meet with Gaston! I am so excited to finally meet him this summer! :woohoo:

I think you, Shannon and the girls will have a blast with him.

Oh man! I wonder if Shannon knows that there’s a Lumiere magic shot??? I know we’ll have to get that! I can’t believe how many poses, locations and magic shots that PP photographer did with you - VERY cool!

I don't remember seeing it in her TR, so perhaps she does not. It was a lot of fun.

UGH!!! So very behind! I have not had time for the DIS this week. It has been all Spamalot, all the time! Ben had 3 performances over the weekend and 3 more next weekend. But the show is SO good!

:lmao: at your bored Buzz picture. Nice of you to throw the game so Mark could win.

Cute series of Stitch pictures. My, "he" is short!

Wow, those couple of mine train pictures are awesome!

Your photopass pictures are fantastic. No wonder you wrote praising John the photographer. Bummer about Chip, but I LOVE Sebastian (haven't seen that one before), the Lumiere pictures are fun (did you get a video) and Mark looks great with the balloons.

You guys really did so much on your last day!

We haven't done the Riverboat in forever. It is sooooooo hot in the summer. You got some nice pictures from the ship.

Did you see Guardians of the Galaxy? I see Groot in the top of Big Thunder Mountain.

:rotfl2:

Once again, I am behind. Forgive me for the lengthy response! :goodvibes

No need to apologize...I appreciate you reading.

LOL! LOVE the second whirl on Buzz. You’re such a sweet wife to your hubby win; I’m WAY too competitive for that. :rolleyes2

I normally wouldn't be that sweet, but I had run him ragged and he'd had a tough summer, so I thought just this once I'd be nice. :)

I adore Stitch. He’s such a cutie. I just saw your shirts!! Those are GREAT!!

I have never been a fan, but the little guy is kind of cute.

I cannot wait to see Storybook Circus! It looks so cute!:dumbo:

It's my favorite land as far as theme goes.

Your shots of New FantasyLand are great. I just can’t wait to be walking through there myself!!

You are going to love it.

Well, looks like Gaston had a thing for you mi lady; quite a romantic look in his eyes! Wow, Mark sure has some big muscles in that picture, guess he ate his eggs for breakfast that day!! Gaston looks like a hoot!

I'm sure he looks that way with all the ladies. :lmao: Gaston was on character the whole time.

Sorry you didn’t get your Chip photo; just another reason to come back! I love the Sebastian pictures! I’ve never seen him before!!

And I will ask for Chip again. Sebastian was a good substitute though.

John took you guys all over the place! Private photo shoot!! How awesome :pixiedust:

He sure did and was most deserving of my email.

Hidden Pascals?!?! WHAT? I’m going to spend hours at that bathroom…

They are so cute.

My favorite ride! Well, one of them. I even have an unsanctioned HM phone case.

It's one of my top five of all time. And nice on the phone case.

We eat healthy in our house, but I’m with you; vacation is for chips and candy!

We try to eat healthy (not always successful), but when I'm on vacation it is rare that you'll see me eating fruit or salad.

I’m not sure I’ve ever been on the Liberty Belle… What is that gazebo with the tables?! Man, I feel like such a rookie!

To tell you the truth, I'm not sure. Maybe by Tom Sawyer's Island (we've never been there...not even when the kids were little).

Great shot of Splash and BTMRR.

Thank you.

Hey, what a cute Jack Sparrow, are they always that good looking?!:lovestruc

I've seen that one before and he is darn close in looks, isn't he?

Wow, I caught up before the end. I can't remember everything I wanted to comment on. What a fun last day. I hope I can talk Chris into riding Liberty Belle. I never been on it, but your pictures have made it a must do this next trip.

Sandy, glad you were able to catch up. Not much more to go. I hope ou can talk Chris into riding it; it was a nice, relaxing ride.

Kathy, I've so enjoyed reading along with your trip report! I loved your and Mark's t- shirts in the recent post I had to copy you and go buy my DH and I a pair. Maybe we'll run into you next year, and know each other by our shirts! :)

Thank you so much for posting...I love having new readers post. I'm glad you enjoyed, and I'm delighted you went out and bought the shirts...every couple in love should have them. When are you going?

I didn't know about Hidden Pascals! That's on my list for next time!

I think someone told me about them last year and then I forgot so didn't want to forget this year.

I adore all your updates. Your pictures are fantastic! Love the different views.

Thanks, Mo; John was really great.

The selfie is obviously my favorite! :lovestruc

Thanks. :)

you are getting a TON done! the two people holding the banner in your picture are a DANG RIOT! they are the same two who came into BBB while we were in there for HOURS.. I have video of them talking into the camera telling they like what we have done with our home very feng shui it was a riot when we came home to watch our videos!! Loads of FUN!

We didn't stick around long, but I'll have to watch for them next time.

YAY a dis meet! good times!

DIS meets are the best as you know.

Cool! I had no idea this was there!

Now you do...it will be a good project for kids the next time you go.

I dunno. That phone would probably be kinda crunchy.

:rotfl2: funny man.

I don't think I've ever done this with the kids. But I love the viewpoints you got. I'll have to try and get there next time.

It's a nice ride and you see a lot of the back of things...BTMR, etc.

Good job on the DIS meet!

Thank you, sir.

Um, Kathy? I think that was your job. :sad2: :rotfl2:

Yes, but I just wasn't feeling it. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

MK looks a lot less crowded this day than earlier in the week.

It was, but it really wasn't all that bad earlier...I think it was just the rain earlier and everyone was always in the same spot.

We've been in MK who knows how many times and have never done the riverboat. We probably won't do it next trip either. :rotfl2:

No, you probably won't....Christopher might jump off to get to Tom Sawyer's Island.

Sad your trip is coming to an end.... maybe now I can work on finishing mine. :rolleyes2

I won't hold my breath. And I still have parts of Marco to do.

It's been a long time since we have done the river boat too....not even sure if Claire has done it. We should make time for it and just relax.

You should; I feel you should do everything at least once. And Claire might enjoy it...or not. :rotfl:

Hey Kathy! I'm catching up just like I promised!!

No worries...I know you have school.

I have never been to Liberty Tree Tavern and I'm dying to try it. Y'alls lunch looked amazing! Especially the pot roast.

I'm disappointed it is going to be closed when we are there in October for refurb. :(

I loved seeing pictures of the new Festival of Lion King theatre, we didn't get a chance to see the show this trip.

The new theater is awesome.

We had never seen the Finding Nemo musical, and we loved it too! You got some great pictures. Also, I love all of the photopass pictures too.

Thanks; we enjoy the Nemo musical (it's not an every year show, but we enjoy every time we see it). I'm glad you enjoyed the PP pictures.

I totally agree with you on the new Test Track, I am just not a fan. I'm a sucker for the old one, it was so much more exciting...

I find it extremely boring designing the car and the inside is BLAH!

We LOVED Food and Wine! I'm so glad you guys got to experience it. We spent a whole day eating around the world and we were very surprised at all of the food options.

Weren't the options wonderful? I can't wait to get back.

I absolutely love Epcot at night and you got some really great pictures!

It's my favorite time at Epcot...so pretty.

I'm almost done catching up! Can't wait to hear about more MK and Food and Wine.

I know you'll get here when you can.

UGH!!! So very behind! I have not had time for the DIS this week. It has been all Spamalot, all the time! Ben had 3 performances over the weekend and 3 more next weekend. But the show is SO good!

I am glad the production is going so well. Are you going to post some pictures?

:lmao: at your bored Buzz picture. Nice of you to throw the game so Mark could win.

We do what we have to make our men happy (some of the time at least :lmao:).

Cute series of Stitch pictures. My, "he" is short!

Yes he is; Mark is only 5'5", so Stitch was really tiny.

Wow, those couple of mine train pictures are awesome!

Thanks, Dee.

Your photopass pictures are fantastic. No wonder you wrote praising John the photographer. Bummer about Chip, but I LOVE Sebastian (haven't seen that one before), the Lumiere pictures are fun (did you get a video) and Mark looks great with the balloons.

He really went out of his way to give us a "private" shoot. :)

You guys really did so much on your last day!

We did get a lot done.

We haven't done the Riverboat in forever. It is sooooooo hot in the summer. You got some nice pictures from the ship.

Yes, summer would NOT be a fun time with that sun beating down on you. It was warm when we were there, but the little mist we had at one point helped.

Did you see Guardians of the Galaxy? I see Groot in the top of Big Thunder Mountain.

:rotfl2:

No, I never even heard of Guardians of the Galaxy. ;)

I'm not 100% sure but I think there are 10 total. So yikes, I'm not even close to finding them all.

Yikes...we have a long way to go then too.

Before I start this update, I forgot to mention that while waiting in line to see Gaston, we met another DISer.
You're like the living TR legend... everybody reads the KatMark TRs. Even the lurkers. :lmao:

We stood and talked for about 10 minutes and she pointed out to her girls that Mark was the "hat man." It was so nice to chat with her.
Ok... well, I called you the living legend, but Mark as the "hat man" might be even more of a Dis celeb. :rotfl2:

It was busy...but not crazy busy (and this spot always seems congested to me)
It really does. So many people trying to get through there and it really funnels down from both sides.

After we finished our snack, we decided to get on the Liberty Square Riverboat. It's probably been a good 10 years since we had done this (it's always closed in September when we are there).
I'm ashamed to say I've never done it. There are just so many other things to do, it is hard to find the time to do this.

Mark would get no sword fight this time after Pirates. :(
Booo! That's no fun! :sad2:

Step up and grab a sword, Kathy!!

You're like the living TR legend... everybody reads the KatMark TRs. Even the lurkers. :lmao:

Living Legend...God that makes me feel old. :rotfl2:

Ok... well, I called you the living legend, but Mark as the "hat man" might be even more of a Dis celeb. :rotfl2:

Yes; I think people definitely come to read to see what my goofy husband has come up with next in the hat department.

It really does. So many people trying to get through there and it really funnels down from both sides.

They need to widen it. I know...get rid of IASW!!!!

I'm ashamed to say I've never done it. There are just so many other things to do, it is hard to find the time to do this.

Skip IASW if they don't get rid of it. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Booo! That's no fun! :sad2:

Step up and grab a sword, Kathy!!

I already let him win on Buzz, what more does he want?

So we had just finished up on POTC and it was nearing our lunch ADR time...a tradition for us on our last day at Disney.

We started the walk over

And then saw this sky

We still had some time to kill so we went into the Emporium to do some browsing (I may have bought an item or two as well ;) ).

While I was browsing, Mark picked up some fine ladies and was having a marvelous time

We then cut over across Main Street and went into the candy shop to get Mark his treat for the ride later

(no that's not the treat, but some of the theme)

We stopped in the next shop and I took a picture of some of the prices of the Jim Shore pieces I was interested in

Some of the outside decorations

Tigger

Maybe when I win the lotto. :(

And then we arrived at our destination

Continued in next post

We got our favorite corner table and pursued the menu.

Mark ended up with the reuben sandwich which he loves with the french fries

I got the burger with potato chips (we shared the french fries and potato chips)

Mark ordered the chocolate ice cream (you can see it in the background BEHIND my Hot Fudge Sundae)

Our waitress very graciously took a last picture of us at the Magic Kingdom

We settled the bill and proceeded toward the exit for our last tradition. For those of you who have followed, you know what that is. For my new readers, here is the last thing we do on our annual trip. My dad passed away in August of 2008. Dad and I were very close and I miss him every single day. We went to Disney a week after he passed away (it was our 25th wedding anniversary trip with our long time friends, Shelley and Tom). On that trip, I wanted to do something in honor of my Dad and we came up with the idea of giving a balloon to a child on the day we departed. My dad always bought our boys balloons at the carnival, Great America, circus and the one time he went to Disney World. I thought this would please my Dad and make him smile down on us. It's gotten a little easier over the years, but I still do get misty-eyed when we find that child to give a balloon to. This year, we found a sweet little boy who couldn't have been more than a year old who was dressed as Winnie-the-Pooh for the Halloween Party later that night. His parents were most grateful for our thoughtfulness.

We then headed out to the monorail to get back to the TTC to get our car.

And we took a selfie to show how we really felt about leaving our Happy Place
(aren't we pathetic? :lmao:)

We walked to the car and said goodbye to another great trip to Disney

And then we were on the road and saw one last sign of Mickey

Cookie enjoyed the ride with us

Well, until we saw this on our drive

Mark ate his fudge

And I had a peanut butter cup

I dont' think we stopped for dinner as we were still quite full from lunch. Finally the rain stopped and we were approaching this

We had arrived at our second home...Marco Island. We stopped at the grocery store for groceries and arrived at the condo around 8:30, turned on the water, the air, unpacked and just crashed. It had been a long, but great trip.

So that's the end of the Disney portion of our trip. I will come back with at least one or two more updates with a bit of Marco. It won't be a lot because we really didn't get to spend much time with Nicki and Todd since her grandma died and I think I have a total of two pictures with Nicki and Todd in it. But we did go to see the Gator Boys so I'll include that and some beach pictures.

I hope you'll stick around for that and then I'll probably do a "favorites" or something at the end.

I love all sorts of Disney traditions - like what you have with eating last at the Plaza ... but obviously your tradition with giving a balloon to a child is an extra special one

You do both look sad and pathetic on your last ride on the monorail ... that last time heading away from a park is always sad - and always feels like it comes way to quickly.

My goodness that was some bad weather that came in - glad you got to Marco Island safely. Hope you had a nice time there - I am sure you are thinking fondly of the warm weather if nothing else right around now.

Those "last" moments of a trip are always bittersweet.

Gorgeous!!!

While I was browsing, Mark picked up some fine ladies and was having a marvelous time

Those gals are giving Mark a run for his money with their flashy hats!

Your meal at The Plaza looks great. I love a good Reuben!

I always get misty reading about your gift balloon.

What a great trip report for your Food & Wine Anniversary trip. Some really great memories!!!

:goodvibes

The last day is always sad but at least you knew you would return sometime and now you have two trips planned.

We have never eaten at the Plaza but it is the list for next year due to your reviews. And the fact I love ice cream :rotfl2:

Yikes that rain looked awful. Almost like the snow out my window right now.
