If you have a black dress with the black heels, either a NICE SCARF or jewellery will break it up. The other option is to try it with the yellow jacket and see. I prefer the scarf or jewellery option.

And black is not "Black" in the fashion industry for nothing....a LOT of corporate wear is based around black. Plus, it is the accepted 'safe' and professional looking option for interviews.

For David's Bridal, you'll definitely WANT to jazz it up with either jewellery or a scarf.

Well its going on 8 pm trial stopped at 5. It starts at 9 am. They are doing saturdays to.

Do you have a thrift shop near you? You should be able to pick up a nice (silk) scarf there.....

Black is a very safe color in the corp world. I hated it when I attended meetings as I had to go find stuff to wear cause all we had was uniforms. At least I did not spend a fortune, or wear out my clothes.

I don't HAVE a "nice scarf". It's also 9:45pm and I don't have the money to go get one tomorrow, even if I wanted one. I have some jewelry, but nothing particularly nice. My nicest necklace is from Torrid.

I'm just worried about not looking right. In EVERY other job I've EVER had, I've had a uniform. And my button downs fit me

I will laugh they said 6 to 8 weeks, however if the defense keeps getting in trouble and has a side bar a few miinutes it could last oh I dont know...........

I've never gotten into scarves because I always feel I'll pick the wrong colour so I'll hardly wear it. But I agree they look nice.

A couple of those would need leggings underneath because of the way they fit me. Also, the purple lace one (with the cowl neck) would need something else on top of it, since it's sleeveless
