lol...I know it's a hard thing. Especially with so many bubble wrapped kids (trust me....I'm one of them...)We haven't tried ice skating as a party idea. It just seems more of a girlie thing to do.
We had a swimming party at the indoor swimming pool for DS's 7th or 8th birthday. One of the boys got hurt going down the water slide. We had to call the parents! They came but weren't worried because he apparently has managed to hurt himself for practically every party he's been to. They got to the pool within 10 minutes and by that stage, he was back up and playing with the others!
I swore I would never do any type of party where the attendees could get hurt. So, the next year, we had the party at home and called in the wild animal man. The parrot bit that kid's finger.![]()
We did ask him to this year's party. Sadly, he was busy with something else.![]()
I don't want to jinx things...Queenie - Should I ask how DBF is?
I want to talk....but.....I keep holding in even when I meet with friends...I don't want to jinx things...

That's why I like them. They aren't that kind of parents. I could learn a lot from them!I guess they could wrap him in bubble wrap before they send him![]()
I know. There's a lot of crap he's dealing with. Which makes him tired and ill...and leads to stress on both sides. So we don't have the talks we need to have.As long as you're not stressing too much. You know we're here.
