First you play the waiting game of 14 weeks if you dare to have even a measely amount in the bank...
Then you start getting payments from the government while you search for work. Must apply for at least 10 jobs per fortnight. The amount you get is about $400-500 a fortnight though....which is...lets just say much less than even a poorly paid in my industry...
This is where the problem lies though....in finding 10 jobs per fortnight.
If I were looking for retail...no problem...
But I'm looking for a professional job...and there aren't many out there...

So you should apply for the 10 retail jobs....you can go to interviews and everyone will know that you are overqualified....and not offer you the job.

Going to have to get going soon. Going wedding present shopping then going to a Sydney Youth Orchestra Concert tonight...
I did look at Japan City for Tea and Sake sets but the ones I liked were all $80++
The cheaper ones usually only had 2 cups. And while this is for a couple...it just looks stingy...
And I think it should have more cups anyway. The usual 5.

Might go back if I don't go with something at this store today though. The $80 one was on sale and very nice....sigh.....if I had a job I'd buy it...

mac and cheese at a noodle place??? What kind of noodle place is that!!!

When we eat out I usually get taken (err...dragged) to noodle places by my Asian friends and I gotta say some of the noodle soups are beautiful.
They had to work with a very hesitant person (aka me) but I do love me noodles

I've had Vietnamese something before...looked kinda like that.
Was really bizarre one place - you arrive and a plate of Mint arrives on the table???
I LOVE what they do to pork chops with marinade. Don't know what it is but it's nice
