....and the Cinco meet was fun. Pity you couldn't work it into your schedule.

It was great! I had a blast and LOVEEEEE AKL!!! sorry about the Cinco meet. Didn't find out abt it until after all the ever fun loving ADR's!

She's real....apparently there are a few TF around the place......all of different colours.

I'm unlikely to ever get tagged....I think I was a little bit insulting when describing the TF...

It is one of those 'keeping up with the Jones'' thing....once one person has a tag, everyone wants a tag.

On another board, they controlled the comment under the avatar. Only Mods could "name" you (mine says Disneyphile on this board)

Problem was people went out of their way to generate a unique moniker and not always for the better.

Rather then QQ over not having a tag, just enjoy the boards, and it should come. Also, tagging may have an issue with individual bias. A mod may just like a particular poster more then others, or dislike one.

Are you angling for a TAG?


Once I found out how powerful the TF was, I decided that Mod in Drag was so inappropriate.......when the TAG QUEEN was so much more fitting....


I wonder if you stay on the ignorami list for ever???

Here's a Bedtime Story.

Once upon a time, there was a snarky little Disser called Kimmar. Over the course of her tenure on the Dis, Kim had managed to acquire 3 tags and all 3 tags were appropriately snarky and beautiful. The tags had been added in different colours and they, together with her location details, were appropriately rainbow (in the blue/green spectrum way) and scrollie across the entire screen.

Kim was very happy with her scrollie tags, even if they were IMPOSSIBLE to read for every other Disser (just a personal opinion here, Kim!).

Then one day, a Tag Fairy happened across Kim’s scrollie tags. The Tag Fairy decided, in her wisdom, to stop the scrollie and to change the colour of the 3rd tag.

DIS hath no fury like a Kimmar without a scrollie!

Kimmar decided to wage a WAR against the Tag Fairy (she did…. her thread starts with “Okay TAG FAIRY. This means WAR…….”). She posted a new thread on the Share and Tell part of the Dis (otherwise known as the Community Bored). And Kimmar, in her war, posted the link in the ten thousand other threads that she flirts with….

And the Dissers came, one and all, to post messages of support and messages of outrage on the WAR thread. (I would like to add that I posted a message of support and pointed out that the Tag Fairy was, afterall, only a Moderator in Drag…..)

And so the WAR went….for about 5 days…..when the thread and the red flag title caught the eye of one Tag Fairy. And the Tag Fairy was good and wise and just….and she read the thread.

1. Kim had asked for her scrollies back.
2. Kim had asked for her tag (colours) to be changed….exactly like those of another Disser, the Mean Queen.

Alas for Kim, she had NOT been wise about what she had asked. The Tag Fairy did EXACTLY as she asked…..Kim got her tags changed to EXACTLY that of the MeanQueen…..colour, words and all!
And the Tag Fairy made sure that the other followers of the thread KNEW exactly what she had done and that she was real!

DIS hath no weapons of mass destruction like a Kimmar the bahookie of a TF joke!

Kimmar pleaded, cajoled and threatened the TF (okay, maybe not the threatened bit…but it made for a good story….)….

The Tag Fairy was not finished with Kimmar…..not by a long shot!

Over the course of the next week….Kimmar……
a) Got her 65K post count reset back to 0
b) Got her tags wiped and her description reset to “Earning My Ears”.
c) The sheer act of a) and b) meant that Kim could no longer post smilies, pictures or links! Pure GENIUS, I tell you!
d) Got her post count of 17 reset back to 0
e) Got told to finish her TR….which is still pending!

I think the rest of us Dissers ran for the hills at some point! (I was most sincere in my apology for ever thinking that the TF was only some Mod in Drag, and pointed out that now that I had seen the all-mighty powers of the TF….that Tag Queen was so much more appropriate instead).

There is never an unhappily ever after on the Dis….

After about a week, the TF came back, restored Kimmar’s post count (although I still say she needs a recount because I don’t think the TF took into account those 17 or 32 odd posts she made in the interim), gave her back her tags, changed her 3rd tag back to a colour that Kimmar could live with, made the tags all scrollie…….BUT left the home location static.

And the TF, in her wisdom, also granted 2 of the followers new tags. Sadly, I was NOT one of them….but Usnuz was!

Should Kimmar ever finish her TR, I figure that the home location will become unreadable again.

The End….

I will add one tidbit one day not so lont ago I saw that the mouse head dissapperd and then it came. Other than that yep that sums it up about right. So unless you want things to get messed with dont mess with the TF!
