Last time you went to the movies, how much was the price of admission?

We have a huge range in our area, from $4 before noon matinees to $24 on opening weekend nights, but at the fancy $24 theater, they have food and drinks, and popcorn is included for these seats:

What is on the seats? Pillows? Are they disposables you keep or somehow sanitized between patrons?? Do they deliver food to your seat? And what chain is it? And how can I get them in my area?!

10.75 is full price (and that includes DreamLoungers!). Tuesdays is $5 day, and matinees are $7.50, I believe? Might be a little cheaper..

We have those kinds of chairs at our theater. And, we have beverage (alcohol, too) and food service in a bulk of them...you order from menus, they deliver. You need anything, you push your button and they find you! The lobby has 2 restaurants (quick service and sit down), plus a bar, too. Full evening out can happen in one building. It's fantastic!!

It's iPic. There is one about a mile from my house! We are spoiled but we only go a few times a year because it is pricey. Yes, they deliver the food. Popcorn is "free" and they bring it to you. They have a full menu that they deliver to you. That is extra... but yummy!

I took my son to see Kung Fu Panda 3 (in 2D) last Tuesday around 11...we also bought a popcorn, large icee and a box of candy for $21.50
They have $6 tickets on Tuesday and concession promotions (we had the day off school/work)

Normal prices range from $6-$9.50 depending on day of week, time of day, senior/child/adult, etc.

Real 3D adds $3 a ticket
Xtreme non 3D is $2 a ticket
Xtreme with 3D is $4 a ticket

ETA: So if they had Deadpool Xtreme with 3D, it would cost $13.50 for an adult on Saturday night. Out theater only has it in Xtreme, though

Yes, a pillow and a blanket.

Not disposable. I assume a fresh blanket is brought out for every show and the covers to the pillows are replaced.
Do they deliver food to your seat?
Yes, pretty decent food and drink to your seat. including adult beverages. And a good range of food, from burgers/sandwiches to crudites or hummus. And there's a little button on that table between the seats that you press to call the server.

iPic theaters. Wife and I like it a lot. The movie ticket itself is a bit more expensive (though popcorn and water are included), and the food is a little expensive for the portion size, but the food/drink quality is pretty high and in total it is a very nice experience.

Thanks for the replies. iPic sounds great. DH & I go to the movies almost every weekend, we'd love this! To bad they aren't in our area.

We don't leave the house. I watch all movies for free. Maybe not night they come out but within a week or so.
2 websites
Watch32.is
Putlocker.is
I haven't had any issues or viruses. I've been watching here for over a year.

Free is always better and i can watch in my jammies with popcorn.
I saw Mockingjay 2 nights after hit theater.

That is terrible. How would you like to work for free.
I pay $14- 20 depending on regular/vip seats

Regular 2d showings are 12.50 in the evening for adults. For 3D evening movies it's usually 17.50 I think. This is for one of those theaters with the reclining seats.
I don't go to the movies often anymore - hate the new type of seating and the rudeness of the people who have been going to the one theater near me.

We pay $13-16 in NYC. None of the theatres here have been upgraded to the recliners yet either and the theatres are often packed. For that reason we only go 3-5 times a year. There is a theatre near me that now has recliners but their selection of movies is more limited, but you get what you pay for I guess. We have Netflix and Amazon prime so we stream a lot. I know theaters make most of their money off of food but the one I go to always has long lines and stale popcorn, so I just don't buy anything as I can't justify the price for such terrible quality. I think Target has better popcorn these days.

Last time I went, we paid $9.50 a ticket. That was last month

i paid $13 the last time. Dine in theatre. Only good thing about it is that its a small theatre, 8 seats across, 12 rows up. Anywhere u sit is a good view.

Ours depend on whether it's 3D, 3D IMAX, or 2D. I think last time we went 2D was $9, 3D was $11, and 3D IMAX was $13 or maybe $15 I can't remember since we rarely see those. We never make it to matinees because of work, but I want to say the 2D matinee are like $7? $6.50?

I seen The Force Awakens opening night and it was like 11 bucks I believe. Plus the fee for purchasing the tickets online. I'm ok with spending that on tickets. Anything else you do will be just as much. The mistake I made was getting a large popcorn and two large drinks...22 bucks smh

Midday weekend movie- $8.25 each If we'd waited a couple hours, we could have paid $5.75 for their matinee price. At night it would be been $11.xx.

Our closest theater (2 miles) is $13.50 for regular movies, which is why I rarely go.
