Hello Lyn![]()
That just breaks my heart to hear. I have been thanking God all morning that my kids are okay...they all got their vacines and we didn't hesitate, we thought it was better than the illness they could get...but even with the low risk rate, it is so sad and scary what can happen. I really feel for this family.

She is in school. Her spring break was a couple of weeks ago.

I have some good news on the school situation for my kids. It seems that after we talked to them last week, they implemented all the changes we talked about. So, I am not sure if this is what happened, I am only speculating, but I think that the little boy that was the bully may have had his actions monitored more closely and he wasn't allowed to pick on kids...I think that is what may have happened, but the result was on Monday he hit the teachers twice. I am not sure if it was the same adult twice, or two adults or what, but before lunch they called his family to pick him up and so he is out of school for two days and if he comes back and can't learn to play nicely, he is out of the school. I am so glad that this all happened when DS wasn't in school, so I feel like they saw how this child acts to others and could make a decision without it affecting DS.
So, the kids were really enjoying Mama's house, but missing school a little too. DH and I decided to send them today and see how it goes, we don't want DS to live in fear or give up easily...it was a very hard decision....but this morning the teacher's aide ran to DH's truck and was so happy the kids were back and she talked to DH and told how they missed the kids and that it was horrible what happened, etc. etc. So, DH felt really good about things when he dropped them off....except that he was worried DS would be too hyper being back at school and all the attention...I told him oh no! now our child will be the problem kid![]()

and it's a good thing he wasn't there when it happend so it wouldn't seem like it was his fault! Hopefully everything will work out now!Lyn5 said:

so far, it seems positive and it looks like this all may have happened for the best...I mean, not what happened to DS, but the resulting actions that occurred
Mom2Ashli said:Lyn that is great news. At least you called attention to the problems and they had a chance to fix them.
Keep us posted on how your kids do today.
It is such a huge relief
