Magic Kingdom revisited....
We decide to split off from the other couple and head back to MK. We didn't get to see Toontown Or ride Goofy's Barnstormer the other day and those are must do's for Madeline. The others went to Epcot......
We arrive at the TTC around 930 and opted to take the ferry boat over (never done this before) It was Packed!!! The girls couldn't even get out of their strollers ... not a fun trip. I could see it being nice if we weren't crammed in like sardines.... Live and learn!
Again, security was a piece of cake.... Hit the bathrooms, then took the train to Toontown. We had a great chat with the CM at the station. I love interacting with CMs.... you learn so much. Anyway, Madeline loves the train ... any and all trains for that matter..... Always fun to watch her swing her legs back and forth while pointing out flowers and hidden animals... LOVE IT!
SIDENOTE: I think Disney could add a bit more items of interest to the left side of the tracks.... More hidden dear.... or some snakes.... :::::shrug::::: I have made a mental note to have Madeline sit on the right side of the train..... but that means she gets on last instead of first, and to a 3 year old..... well...... you know.....getting on last isn't any fun! roflmbo
Toontown was crowded, but he girls didn't care ... we let them play for about 30 mins in the little playground ... then we went through Minnie's house....... She loves monkeying with all the gadgets in there, and it was very hard to get her out
We lined up to see Minnie and friends ... about 10 minute wait ... seemed like (and from what I over heard as we were walking in) Minnie's line was the fastest moving! WHEW!
We should have gone to Mickey's house ... and meet him too... Madeline had been bugging us about that but we figured we would run into him somewhere else.... Nope.... Didn't..... and she is STILL crabbing about it.... We didn't see Mickey Mama.... I want to see Mickey! Mind like a steel trap that one has ... yup... a steel trap!
The line for Goofy's Barnstormer read 25 mins.... We didn't want to wait ... but Miss Madeline was not leaving until she rode it.... So Ozo took her on it while Juju and I shopped... (bought a pooh and a Tinkerbell swirling light thingy for each of the girls ... they love them, and continue to play with them almost every night!) I also found a couple of T-shirts for me ... bought NOTHING for my husband!! LOL Usually it is the other way around.... I buy for everyone BUT me.... Ozo said Maddie did great in line, but he held her most of the time.... We will take it! LOL I love the fruit stand @Toontown.... We stock up on fruit, get Rehydrated and head out of Toontown........
SIDENOTE: I really think Disney should add another bathroom in the Toontown area.... Joe's Garage is a little far (from the playground area) for potty training kids. I wont even go into the HUGE TA-do Maddie made about using that mean old Joe's bathroom..... UGH She cracks me up and keeps me on my toes!! Also, another food option would be nice. The hot dog cart was closed.
It was getting close to lunch time so we decide to stroll over to Tomorrowland and eat at the counter service restaurant there. A tradition of mine, stemming from my Disneyland days... I must always get a Moon burger in Tomorrowland...... The food was okay, I liked the side bars of fixins. Very clean and well stocked. Fresh too ... all the lettuce looked great..... (I was surprised!) We sat down near the Alien organ player guy, and let the girls dance around as they ate their lunch. Ozo and I got to hold hands
It was really nice. Loud ... but we are used to loud ... it was nice to have the room (on the dance floor) to let the girls roam a bit while we ate. In the good old days at Disneyland's Tomorrowland Stage they had live bands.... The animatronic dude wasn't bad.... but I liked they live bands better 
After lunch we decide to do the people mover train again.... Maddie loves it! We ride 2 times without getting off.... It was nice of them to let us do that ... but now Madeline WILL expect that on all rides from now on! LOL "But Mommy ... we rode it two times last time...... "She is too smart for me!
Lunch pooped us out so we headed back to the house....... They guys were golfing later anyway.
That afternoon all we did was hang out at the house and swim.... Maddie loved the pool. Juju is still getting used to the whole concept of it. After this summer it shouldn't be a problem (we have a pool, just not 'open' yet.)
Then I discover I lost my driver's license..... ACK!!! And my United Visa Card! ACK!!! We are scheduled to leave the next day! I call the airlines and ask them what I can do to be able to fly the next day.... they tell me I should file a police report and arrive at the airport 6 hours ahead of time!
I then try to figure out where I could have lost it ... and it came back to leaving it a Dollar rent a car..... But I figured no way ... they would have called me..... but sure enough ... they had them both!! WHEW! I was soo happy I forgot to be mad that they didn't call me. They had my contact information ... my cell phone number, the house we were renting phone number..... Why didn't they call me??? I still haven't called them to complain.....
That evening we had PS's for Ohana's so we met up with the boys there. We had eaten their in Jan January and loved it ... so we kinda dragged the others along for this trip. (The fountain is finished! Looks great) We head upstairs and check in. They ask how many high chairs etc.... 5 adults 3 high chairs.... We wait about 10 mins then are lead to our table..... where we then had to wait 5 minutes for high chairs. So here are the moms ... standing ... waiting for the high chairs..... This really irked me. IMO the high chairs should either have already been there or picked up along the way..... What also got my goat was our waiter came over (while Linda and I are standing, holding our kids) and asked if we wanted anything... Um yes!! HIGH CHAIRS???? He then ask me if I was on vacation ... um. yes... THEN LIGHTEN UP! I almost asked to speak to a manager.... I was irked. But I didn't... Our tip would reflect what we thought of him..... I later asked if they had kid cups ... the rolled his eyes and said.... DUH? Where are you??? Again, it really put me off...... I forget they guys name... ::::Shrug:::::
The food was good. A little dry ... but not bad. Madeline tried to hula hoop and couldnt.... mama was NOT going to show her how ... but she still had fun trying. I had wanted to walk around a bit ... to get a fell for our upcoming trip but Steve and Linda wanted to go ... and one car seat was in our van... blah blah blah. We all end up going home. We swam one more time and went to bed.
The rest is uneventful, we packed up and flew home. I was going to complain to Dollar when I went to pick up my license but forgot too.....
FINAL THOUGHTS
We loved the house ... but we will not stay offsite again! We bought into DVC for that very purpose ... having a home away from home but at WDW!!! Our upcoming trip (on DVC points) is not at a DVC resort ... we opted to splurge for a 9 day split trip between the Beach Club and The Poly ... both Concierge level.... We are not renting a car..... we are not cooking ... we are just going to roll out of bed and into either a park or a pool....
For a last minute trip this wasn't bad ... but again we wouldn't do it again until the girls get older ... sharing a house or villa with other little kids is just too hard (at least for us! LOL)
