Hi
My Dh just told me he has to go back to the LA area for work in a few days and wanted to take me along this time. I was thinking of heading over to Disneyland for a day or so. It will just be my husband and I. What do you suggest we do there? Anyplace better to see while its just us big people instead of a 2 and 4 yr old? :confused3 :surfweb:

Thanks so much! Jennifer

Ride the BIG rides: Screamin, Space, Indy, etc. . .

Eat big people food. Maybe get a PS for Wine Country Trattoria and enjoy a nice meal with a glass of wine.

Sit on the porch on Main Street and just people watch while eating a dole whip without having to share.

Spend time in the Opera House looking at the historical exhibits and enjoy the First 50 Years movie (if you haven't already).

Explore the lobby and grounds at the GCH.

Catch a Billy & The Hillbillies show at the Golden Horseshoe. Especially best Sat-Wed.

Just enjoy a slower pace, being together and soaking in the atmosphere.

And make sure you go into all of the jewelry and crystal shops that you would never take a stroller and 2 little kids into. My DH and I went to DL together a year ago without our kids and it was so fun to look in all of the little shops and look at the art work and jewelry and breakable stuff without worrying.

And we rode only the rides we wanted to, not any that we felt we had to ride. We definitely did all of the big rides multiple times. I would so go again with just my DH. Maybe next year when he turns 50. :scared1:

Definitely take yourselves to a nice dinner at the Napa Rose at the Grand Californian.
