Last minute spring break trip - 1st week of April

So my tax check is WAY more than I thought it was going to be and I can swing a short 4 day trip. Does anyone know of any special deals that I should ask for when I call or will deals automatically be calculated if I make it online? I am not planning on DDP, but we will do 3 character breakfasts. Princess (Cinderella Castle or Askershush), The fab 5 (not sure) and Pooh (Crystal Palace). This is mine and my 11 y/o's 3rd trip, but my 3 y/o's 2nd. She was 14 months and obviously doesn't remember her first. I want to surprise them.

I looked at it online (not including airfare for 4 (my mother is coming) and it is $1785 at the value resorts. There should be some way to do it cheaper. I live in IN so to do a short trip does not involve driving. We have to fly.

Booking character meals could be a problem since you are kind of coming to the game late. Booking dining reservations can begin at 180 days before your visit and the princess breakfasts fill up fast. You can check online rather than spending a long time waiting to speak to someone in Disney Dining.

Thank you for those links! I will see if they have availability for the kids stay for free. I am so used to planning one year in advance, I totally forgot about the dining availability. ugh! lol Gotta get to it. Thanks again.
