Last Minute Simple, Cheap 2 Nts - where?

Any suggestions for a basic hotel near WDW? Just want clean & safe place to crash for two nights under $50/nt... Will consider more if more than a carb-only breakfast is included. 2 adults/2 kids

Also need to know if there is a resort charge charged at check-in. I hate being surprised by extra fees!

The Galleria Palms seems like a steal. It's $58/night and looks very clean with a nice breakfast.

I've never been steered wrong by using hotwire. You can get a 3 star in the Disney maingate/Lake Buena Vista area for under $50/nt and most have free internet and free parking!

I am looking for two nights cheap also. Might try to get a quick trip in between Christmas and New Years. We will have a car. Any Recommendations?

We have stayed at the Magic Tree Resort before and were happy. I just looked online and the rate starts at $89 a night.
