Yup, title says it all.
Well it seems like with my dh's job (and thank goodness for his job), we are always last minute with these vacation plans. I just booked flights (into Tampa) for 3/8-15 yesterday on SWA. We're booking a car too.
Yes. Spring Break. We've been to WDW and know what that and staying on site is like and that this will be completely different. For one, we'll be staying offsite somewhere -- maybe Mystic Dunes. We'd like a place where DS has his own sleeping area and a kitchen/mini-kitchen for breakfasts in.
Will it be too cold to swim around that time? Should I even bother with looking at pools?
DS won tickets to LEGOLAND Florida so that is a must. We've been to LEGOLAND CA when he was 6 and loved It. He's 9 now and I think it will be a winner still. So that will take care of 2 of our first 2 days probably (Sun/Mon or Tues). I personally love that it has the limited hours so it won't have that WDW rush / gotta plan it all beforehand feel to it imo.
Kennedy Space Center is another must do this trip. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice here? It looks like that would be a full day.
For Universal, how many days should we allow? Child is not into super heros but we're going to start reading Harry Potter tonight. He does love dragons though. When I lived in LA, we'd take visitors to US but I think it's probably different in FL. Plus, that was a long time ago (think 90s) and I'm sure they've all changed.
We love Science museums, aquariums and the like, but probably won't be able to make time for Sea World. Does anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions or advice. I so appreciate these boards!
Peace out
