We have a opportunity to go to the world over Labor Day & a few days after! :)

Hubby thinks it's a bad idea between the crowd & heat. We do have a trip planned for first of the year.

I of course disagree LOL  Any idea the size of crowds that weekend? OR the week after?

TIA :)

That's the week we are going this year. We usually go the week before and there has never been much of a crowd. We didn't need to use hardly any of our FP+ that we made last year. The week after Labor Day is supposed to be even less crowded but the heat is pretty bad.

We are going Sept 5-12. Hopefully we can manage the heat. I have heard the crowds should be low but restaurants are full due to a free dining promotion. I was trying to book breakfast at Chef Mickeys and only time I could get all week was 10:40.

Sept. 5-12 here as well! I finally managed to get all but one ADR that we want and we're hoping for a cold front to move through Orlando that week! :teeth:

It's looking like early Sept crowds will be bad this year (or Disney will be right-sizing staff and rides to an extent that it will feel bad)...and the heat will be brutal...but it's Orlando, so that is always a huge positive over being at home!

What makes you think the crowds will be bad? Just curious if there's some info I'm missing. Sure hope it isn't too bad!

I just looked at the easyWDW (blog) and the September crowds look pretty low for this weekend. It will be hot and humid but take an afternoon break and enjoy the resort pool during the hottest part of the day. Perfect time to go!!!

Lack of ADRs and FP+ options...there's a thread on another Disboard about the suspected staff and ride "right-sizing" to make it feel like a 7, even if it's a 3 day...

Huh... guess we will just have to cross our fingers! We're also planning to avoid the parks that are supposed to be the busiest each day, except to get to them in time for evening EMH's in a couple of cases. Our ADR's are all set to go!

Been 3 years since we went, but we always found the crowds VERY light starting the day after Labor Day. Very hot and muggy, but no crowds. Enjoy!
