Last minute hotel stays…is Priceline still the way to go?

Need a stay for next Saturday night and it doesn’t need to be in DW.

I’m actually seeing slightly better last minute stuff on Hotwire than Priceline at the moment.

It's a good way to see the floor of a reservation cost.

However, if I have a good idea where the Priceline/Hotwire hotel is I will look at hotel sites directly to see what they are charging.

If something ever goes wrong with a reservation or your hotel plans, you are far better booking directly from a hotel.

Over the years, the amount you save using these services has been eroded, so I suggest checking before going with the opaque sites.
