Last Minute Getaways Calendar is...well...a little misleading....

I took a peek at the last minute getaways calendar, just for giggles, and to my shock, it shows that EVERY room type at HHI is available for EVERY night starting August 1! Um.....WHAT?? So, I went to the "book a reservation" page, and, sure enough, studios are booked solid for the entire month of August as I suspected. There is a TON of availability showing on the last minute getaways page for other WDW resorts, as well as Aulani, and I would imagine it is also incorrect. Good thing they took the website down for 3 days to fix all of the bugs.

You're about to be barraged with:

* It's just a snapshot and doesn'r reflect real-time availability.
* It's only updated once a week.
* It's always been inaccurate.


Which begs the question: why even have it as a booking "tool"?

Agreed....I've never really looked at it before....and now I know why. It's completely useless.

This is all the more reason to make sure your points never go into holding status. Especially with all the extra points right now, there may not be a studio available for a year or two.
