LAst minute closures chap my ...you know what!

I knew Carnation Cafe was going to be closed this week....but I'm VERY sad to see it's been added for next week as well. There go two priority seatings we had set.
Seems like the closer we get to trips the more closures that go up.

That's terrible , I wish they had given you a clue when you made your PS's. As an overplanner that would be heartbreaking for me.

I just got off the phone with Disney Dining...he told me they are actually scheduled to re-open this Saturday. They are remodeling the inside apparently and even that date isn't definite. He said to call back on Saturday to see if they actually opened or not. With it being on the refurb schedule...that to me would mean they are not opening. Oh well...fingers crossed

Oh, I really hope it reopens for you. I really enjoyed our lunch there a couple weeks ago. Oscar is a wonderful host. My dd loved him and got her photo with him for her scrapbook.

I'm glad I read this post, I had a PS for Carnation Cafe for this Sunday....I was looking so forward to it.

YIKES! I really dislike when things like that happen too. I am a huge overplanner. and I wouldn't want the last minute stuff it would make me go over my schedule like 100 times to make something else fit.

So per Disney Dining I checked back in today to see if Carnation Cafe had re-opened. THe woman I spoke too really didn't seem sure with her answer. Anyway she did say they are open today, although it still says down on DLR site. Also added for tues-thurs is Monorail testing it says nite testing so hopefully it will still be up and running during the day. Possibly testing the new monorails once again????
So I'm just about all packed and ready to go...
I am hoping to get my son to bed EARLY tonight since we'll be up at 5am.

We had breakfast there this morning.. yummy eggs benedict too! No worried with your PS as they are officialy opened.
