So, it's me and my 7 yr old daughter.

We have ressies for lunch at Rose & Crown. I've been on the fence for the last week about changing this to Les Chefs (I know Remy is not there on Sun. booo). Should we? Thoughts?

** We have ressies for dinner the night before at Raglan Rd....plus, I live about 1 mile from a very similar restaurant, that we frequent. I thought Les Chefs would be a nice change???? See, I am driving myself crazy with these logics :rotfl:

Thanks all - set me straight!!!

Although Rose/Crown is pretty good, I think a nice change is always good. At disney, i want to experience unique things. Therefore im going to suggest you try Chefs instead of Rose/Crown. :)

I love Chefs de France for lunch but not for dinner...and I saw Remy at lunch but I dont know if he still visits then or is it just dinner?

Overall we prefer Rose & Crown to Chefs but have had decent lunch experiences at Chefs and are actually eating at both places for our upcoming trip.

I think Chefs is prettier and feels like a more "sophisticated" experience if that makes sense. Your DD7 may like that feeling. Plus as you said, you want to experience something different from your norm. I would go with Chefs for lunch (but not dinner if for some reason your plans change).

Edited to add that I have read that Remy is there for lunch and dinner every day except Sunday

Rose & Crown is a smaller restaurant than les chefs. I don't think it's hard to get seated at les chefs without a reservation..why don't you keep the R&C reservation and do an early walk up to les chefs if you change your mind?

You can always stop by the R&C podium early to let them know you won't be dining there if you decide on that day not to eat there.

Between 12 noon and 6 pm, so he visits for only part of the dinner service, but not on Sundays.

Was not overly impressed with Rose & Crown, but have had better British in other British restuarants (and I am also from UK). It was ok, kids liked it but we thought it so-so. Pub fare it is indeed. Good lager though:) Just the one mind!
Le Chefs lunch was delish for us but don't know about dinner.

To France we go....

thanks so much for setting me straight. If hubby was with us this trip, it would a no brainer.... R&C for several pints!!!!:thumbsup2

thanks to all!!!
