Hi guys
So we have been many many times to DLP, and for the last couple of years this has been in our campervan in our car park home. Ages ago, mil said she'd like to go, but then lots of things happened and it never happened. Last summer she said she'd always wanted to go, and now it was too late as she was diagnosed with mouth cancer. We promised we would take her when treatment was finished. So here we are, we didn't want to book it earlier as we didn't know how she'd respond. Because of offers, family commitments, life in general we can go at the end of March, or not til October, but she wants to go in March, which is also her 70th birthday. So I really need advice about any good offers (we have to go either 23-25 March or 30 Mar-1st Ap) for 2 nights.

2 of us have annual passes. She will not be wanting to walk as much as we normally do as she is still quite weak.

Also any ideas for how to get any extra magic for this special trip.

Thanks.

Is there a special booking number for annual pass holders? Can't find it anywhere. Thanks.

for AP room prices you just call the normal booking number - but be prepared for the room only prices to be as much, or even more, than a package booking would be.

hopefully Disney will come out with another discount offer very soon which covers your dates :) (although you have just missed one with the flash sale which ended last week).

how many adults and children (and ages of the children) would you be on this trip?

I know - I was gutted we missed the flash sale but she hadn't had the all clear to travel then so we couldn't risk it.
We will be - 1 OAP, 2 adults and 1 9year old (he has autism).

okay so you could book a package for one adult and one child (he should be free up to the end of march as he's under 12) and then add the other 2 adults at check-in. that would cover the room booked and everyone would have park tickets/APs for the duration of your trip :).

eta - kids under 12 free is only valid on packages of a check-in date up to 28th march, so i'd pick the earlier of your 2 dates.

Thanks DLPdaft. I assume I can do this online as well as phoning?
I just rang, and asked about AP discounts but no good rates available. I also went into Co-op travel as said they do this on the sticky board, and she was a much use as a chocolate teapot!

yes, just do the one adult and one child booking online. then a few days before you check in, phone the hotel and tell them you need a room for 4 guests, as you'll be adding another 2 names to the room booking at check-in. this ensures you get a room allocated to you that is big enough for 4 guests (as some onsite rooms have one king bed rather than 2 doubles etc).
