My husband and I have some time off work (no kids) and would really like to stay at Bonnet Creek. Need help with finding a week stay there anytime between now and the next 3 weeks. There is a 1 bedroom on ebay starting March 24, but I am not sure about buying off ebay. Any help would be appreciated Thanks!!!

You should be safe to buy off eBay. Any reputable person will know that Wyndham requires the guest checking in to be named on the reservation (and should take care of that for you - included in the selling price -- it's called a guest confirmation).

People who sell on eBay are certified (somewhat) by eBay. They are supposed to have the property for the time offered before posting.

You have the eBay guarantees (so would back you if you had a dispute).

Watch feedback ratings - those of us who sell on eBay value our feedback greatly and work hard to keep it at 100%. (No the listing you are referring to is not mine :-)).

As always, be careful, no matter what you are doing via the internet. If it smells funny, don't do it.

What you are feeling is what keeps the price of bonnet creek so affordable. It feels so much better to just pick up the phone and call disney to reserve that room. Of course, when you get the bill, you may be in for another feeling.....

Anyhow, Ebay is a great place for newbies to start renting timeshares.

Many of the reservations you see on ebay for bonnet creek are from business/individuals that have been doing it for years.

You can check feedback and completed listings. Plus you have ebay buyer protection.

    Good luck!

We emailed Ken Price (vacationupgrades) on March 14 to see if he had a 1bd or 2 bedroom for 03/31. Thought for sure there would be nothing available but he got us a 2 bdroom for 8 nights.

I wouldn't worry too much about eBay. We were planning on purchasing thru eBay before we called Ken but we couldn't find our specific dates.

    There's a 2 BR for 7 nights starting March 25 on tug for $400.

This is not my listing, nor do I know the person offering it. I do know that she is a regular renter and participant on tug so I'm sure she would be trustworthy.
