We have been going down to Orlando for Spring Break for a few years. We are very spontaneous and pick a resort to just hang out, no parks. Well I see that Universal Resorts has a great price for the longer you stay the cheaper it is. We decided we should try RPR and give Universal a try. I haven't done much research and we are planning on driving down tomorrow and will be checking in on Thursday. I'm hoping you all could help me out. We are planning on staying 5 nights, going to the parks two days (my older two 3 days).

1-Does the view matter? I was thinking of getting a water view room.

2-I've read there are mini bars in the room, what about a mini fridge?

3-How is the pool area? Is it relaxing, music and drinks or a rush for chairs?

4-Are there activities at the resort?

5-How about checking out the other resorts?

6-Rollaways, are they hard to get?

7-Is there a spa on property?

Anything else you might think might be helpful I would appreciate it:goodvibes

I have to say I was checking out some posts on restaurants and I was impressed with the prices at Universal.

I don't even know anything about the rides, but I thought that would be fun to find out once we get there! I usually spend so much time planning my WDW trips so this is a bit crazy, but I know it will be fun.

We like a Pool View, but think it would be your own preference.

fride will cost you $25 a day, most buy a styrofoam or cool box and fill it with ice.

Only been in July, there was always someone playing, it is very relaxing and never needed to rush for loungers ,as there is lots about the pool area.

4-Are there activities at the resort?

There was always activities at the pool , also table tennis table, etc

5-How about checking out the other resorts?

you can visit the other 2 resorts and use all the facilities, remember to take your room key.

6-Rollaways, are they hard to get?

never had one, but have seen plenty in the storeson each level, so should not be a problem. most would buy their own blowup bed and just leave it when they check out or if you are driving bring your own.

7-Is there a spa on property?

The Spa is at Portofino Bay
