Last hour of the flight

I read somewhere that security measures recently came into force during the last houre of your flight. The seatbelt sign would be on, you are not allowed to go into your hand luggage, go to the toilet, have anything on your lap and the airline's entertainment system bwould be switched off. Did I imagine this or is it still the case? I just want to be prepared, we have 2 young children and a disabled traveller with toilet issues travelling with us. This does sound like it would be a bit of a nightmare for us.

I believe this is not the case anymore.
I think it was only in effect for a couple of weeks, a month tops.
We flew in Feb and home in March and it was not in effect then. Mum flew in April and not in effect then either.
Hope you are well Maz :)

oooooohhhh - thank goodness for that - I was wondering too - always get "morning bladder" - ladies of a certain age will know what I mean...;) so on the return trip it would be hell...
