Last day of school here too.

DH always get a peanut buster parfait and the kids get blizzards at DQ. I'm partial to the caramel sundae in a plain waffle bowl. YUM!

Oh I would so go for a banana split with hot fudge instead of chocolate sauce. An Oreo Brownie Earthquake would be a close second though. between this thread and the brownie one i am developing a major sweet tooth today

No Sonic's here in Maine! Our kids don't go back to school until after Labor Day.

Our last day was yesterday. My DD (1/2 day kindergarten)and I met DS (5th grade) at the bus stop with silly string and water balloons.

The neighbor down the street had ice cream for the kids . Then they all went to another house for a game of kick ball while the parents chatted.

Funday.

Thought we'd make it to the pool today, but its raining.

I vote for Dairy Queen. Love those blizzards.

Our kids get out today (June 15) and go back on August 9th since we are moving out of state. Very short summer for them.

It is so hard on the kids when moving messes up the summer We've been there. It still looks like yours get 8 weeks which isn't bad. Ours have 6--July 29 to September 13. But we get two weeks at Easter and two weeks 50 days later.

I get the Oreo Blizzard. I ask for them to put it in chocolate ice cream, not vanilla. Some DQ shops can do this, some can't, but I always ask!

Oops...I guess it's 3:30 now where you are, so you probably already went! What'd you get?

Yikes that is too short! This school district that we are moving into does several 5 day weekends and they get a whole week at Thanksgiving - we plan to take advantage of being able to drive to WDW now as you can see by our tickers.

The kids wanted Rita's after school but DH wanted sundaes from McD's. Maybe we'll hit DQ this weekend!
