Nope, we get out tomorrow. Half days today & tomorrow and finally, it's done.

I didn't think anyone was still going. When do you start back? Typicslly September is hotter then Jusn so I would rather have more of Semtember off then Uune.

You're not the last. Maybe we are? Mine get out on Tuesday (the 30th). It's a half day. We can't wait for summer vacation This is a school which supposedly follows and "American" vacation calander
If they were going to go back to the same school they would be back in school on August 24. Lucky kids, they are changing schools (to a German calander) and do not have to go back until September 14

We got out on the 17th and start back up August 26th.

We had several snow days to make up, which we did over the course of the year on teacher work days and one day of April vacation. I like that better than having to go to school until July.

I love our schedule. My son and I lived in NC for 9 years. I could never get used to going to school in August. It just seemed so wrong to me.

I agree.They added days to the calender here. When I was a kid I used to get out the same as my kids mid june. We headed back to school the day after Labor Day. Now it is the last week of August.

My DDs finish today with a half-day...YAY!!! We're heading back to Canada tomorrow for four weeks to enjoy some warmth (hopefully!), and then they are back in school on July 27th. I shouldn't really complain, though, because they get 8 weeks off at Christmastime (for the Chilean summer).
