Last Day for Christmas Parade/fireworks at MK?

I see that the last day for the Castle lights and Osborne lights is Jan 3. Does anyone know the last day they have the Christmas themed parade/fireworks at MK? Thanks!

We were there last year at that time and although it said xmas decor would be gone in the resorts and parks would be the 2nd or maybe it was the 3rd...all the decor was still up in MK on the 5th, including the castle lights. On the morning of the 6th all the decor at WL was down. I also noticed that things like the gingerbread houses where down by the 3rd. So I guess it just depends...we are not really parade people so I can't comment on that but on a side note we did go to the osborne lights on the last night. We had never been there before but we noticed a lot of "snow" was coming down and jokingly to my DH I said they probably have a surplus and are getting rid of it. Like 2 minutes later one of the cast members said that very thing and its not normally that snowy. I personally loved it, although xmas was over at that point it was still very magical. Just FYI

How were the crowds when you were there during this time? We will be there Jan 1-7, but don't plan to go to the parks until the 3rd. We'll look at all the resorts and do other stuff and relax on the 1st and 2nd. We are thinking the crowds will be lighter this way. The last 2 years we went the week before Thanksgiving. Most of the parks were decorated, but not too much at the resorts. Can't wait!

On the 2nd and 3rd it was a bit crowded but the 2nd was on a sunday last year so I think more of the xmas crowds were still around. by the end of the week we walked on a lot of stuff. For example we did all of fantasy land in a little less than an hour (included carousel 3 times and dumbo twice) minus mickey's philharmagic (we had a one year old and didn't think she would keep the 3D glasses on). I should also add this was an EMH morning day and we didn't get there until about 930. That's actually our exact plan this year...just relax at the resorts and look around (1st and 2nd) and then hit the parks the next couple of days (3rd-7th!)
