Hi all. We are new to DW and looking for a fun character breakfast for our last day. It's a toss up between Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace or Ohana's. Any comments of suggestions
Thanks Eight days to go until Beach Club!!!
We had Chef Mickeys for our last day breakfast but found it a bit manic (although it was nice to leave the car at the Contemporary and use monorail and boat for some hotel hopping). There was plenty of choice of food though - we had 11.00 for brunch to make sure we had no stress/plenty of time for getting out of our hotel, checking in at DTD and then finding the Contemporary (if you're driving take the extreme right-hand lane or you'll end up at MK! the signs are not very clear). We were missed by some of the characters and didn't get the photo option offered (but it was Easter Sunday so maybe service was worse than usual).
We also had a breakfast at Crystal Palace which was a nicer place to eat with good character interaction but the food was not very good - waffles hard as bricks!
My sister had a breakfastosaurus and said the food was really good.
I think next time we'll go for a "family style" (served at table) option for our last breakfast as its more relaxing and everyone gets to eat at once. We had to go up in shifts so we sould keep an eye on the bags with our passports etc in them!

One thing you might consider: I don't know if you are leaving after breakfast or staying at the parks part of the day, but you will need park admission for Crystal Palace. You don't need to go into a park for Ohana and Chef Mickey's.
Cape May Cafe right in the Beach Club also has a nice character breakfast (Sorry, I'm not trying to make this harder for you!)
We seem to always end up at 'Ohana for our last day breakfast. It is nice that it is served family style so we can relax instead of running back and forth to a buffet. Make sure to leave plenty of time for breakfast though. The last time we went, we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated and our server was a bit slow. In her defense, she had a couple very large tables to help as well. My kids loved the parade around the restaurant with the characters. The song that morning was, "I Just Can't Wait To Be King."
Hi, etmom We will be at the Beach Club Villas in 10 days!!! If you are planning on being in a park your last day then I would highly recommend CP for breakfast -- it is a must-do for us every visit We don't usually visit a park on our last day because it is just too sad If you are not going to any parks then I second the recommendation for the breakfast at Cape May. There is a good selection of food, the character interaction is great and it is not as chaotic as some of the other character meals can get. Good luck with your decision. Hope to see you there
Chef Mickey's is a tradition for us too!! We always get the photo option, love that cause we're all in it! We will be at the Beach Club Villas next week also!!! Saving Chef Mickey's for our last morning! Our PS is at 7:30 a.m. so that we can be at MK close to opening, sure hope it will work out!
