Last 2 weeks in June or July..Which is more Crowded?

I'm having to change my travel plans to a later date this year and was wondering which would be more crowded. We usually go the first 2 weeks in June and really like that time but I'm going to try and stretch our PAP's out over 2 years this time (covering next years vacation for the first 2 weeks in June).

I'm not sure about June, but I have been there over the 4th of July..and it was pretty darn crowded. I would think the weather would likely be the same either of those weeks, although July can get pretty rainy. FW is such a spread out relaxing place, that I would imagine even if the parks are crowded you will be happy to return to the Fort where it won't appear as crowded as some of the resorts and parks might be.

We usually book the end of June because it just gets too hot and crowded in July.

With deference to what AuburnJen92 said, I don't think it matters a whole lot if it's late June or late July. It will be hot, wet, and sticky either time. However, I have played the same strategy you are considering about getting an annual pass/membership to something and using it first in month #1 and last in month #12. It works for me and I think it outweighs weather considerations. Go and have a good time!

We went last week of July and 1st week of August. The only other time we went was in Nov'01 so the crowd differance this time around was considerable. But, it was'nt too bad because we are going in July again. We just added more days to our next trip, so we can slow things down a little. We coped with the heat, best we could !
