we are planning on going to las vegas next year.we are wondering what time of year to go and whats the best things to do while we are there?

Any time other than june through september would be fine. As far as what to do it depends on your intrests and how long you will stay. Most people are happy spending their whole trip on the Strip in the hotels and casinos but there are other things to do off the Strip. If you have any questions I would be happy to help since I have lived in Vegas for my entire life.

I've been to Las Vegas a few times, and I think that the perfect time to go is the first two weeks of December. Generally speaking, these weeks are the least traveled weeks of the year, and so you should be able to get really good deals on flights and hotels. If you like crowds, the rodeo makes its home in Vegas during the beginning of December, but it is still nothing like July in Vegas. Plus...you don't have to deal with the heat while casino hopping along the strip!

As far as things to do (besides gambling or checking out all the casinos)...
Cirque du Soleil show "O" at the Bellagio
Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay
The Blue Man Group at Luxor
A trip to Hoover Dam or Red Rock Canyon
A walk through the brand new Wynn Hotel (Steve Wynn's creation)
Shopping...Caesar's Forum Shops, Any of the hotels, the Desert Passage

If you have any other questions, let me know! I'll help if I can!

We myself and DS6 at the time
Went in January, I would not go again then as it was a bit chilly and there was no swimming (keep in mind most hotels there have only outdoor pools)

As far as things to do (besides gambling or checking out all the casinos)...

Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay
The Blue Man Group at Luxor

those are my 2 faves

also the Secret garden at The Mirage.

Little help here. I know there is so much in Orlando its hard to keep up. Looking at my Disney World map, having hard time finding this "Las Vegas World" section. Where in WDW exactly is it? Or is it over by I Drive? Thanks.

I have always gone in either July or August.......cheaper, but it is very HOT!

Must sees....
