I'm a 36JJ and my current bras just aren't cutting it anymore. I recently started running and working out, so I need something that will keep the girls in check. Is anyone the same or a similar size and have a great bra they can recommend? Thanks! :)

No personal experience but I've always heard that Title Nine sports bras are the best for larger women. But in looking at them, they only seem to go to cup size F.

Don't have a specific bra to recommend [my day to day is a Chantelle model], but I HIGHLY recommend if you have not already done so to get a professional bra fitting.

I did so one time one a work trip to DC [my "spend time for myself" one evening was to go visit a local mall, and they had a place and I stopped in and voila]. Revolutionary. To start with, I was wearing the completely wrong size bra [as most women are] and ended up in (much) smaller band larger cup. But they were also amazing in not just knowing what size but in the options they provided and what would work for me. The place I went to is now branded a Rigby & Peller, but there are other similar type places. World of difference from the run of the mill-type department store fitter many of us are used to. Only downside is the bras are quality bras and NOT inexpensive. The place I went there was no obligation to purchase any, though I did get two. I've since bought more of the one I liked the most once I was wearing it all the time -- Nordstrom and some other places sell it and I've taken advantage of sales when I can.

My sports bra is a Glamorise, but they only go up to J cup. For JJ you will have limited options brand-wise unfortunately.

Good luck !

If you have a Title Nine store near you go there. If not, you can call a number on their website and give them you measurements and they will fit you that way. If the bra doesn't work out you can return it anytime the first year for a refund. They will donate that used bra to a women's shelter or homeless shelter. My favorites are the Brooks bras and the Shock Absorber. The bras I wear when I train or race for long distance triathlons are the 3-reasons by Brooks and the Shock Absorber that Title Nine calls the Trade Up Bra. I did an Ironman in my Trade Up bra it held out for the 15 hours and it was comfortable the entire time.

I actually have received a professional fitting and it was absolutely life-changing. I never would have been wearing the right size otherwise.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions so far. I wish Title Nine went up to a JJ cup!

I don't need quite that large a cup, and the ones that I like don't go that high. For sports bras, I've heard really good things about Enell and SheFit for larger sizes. I have not looked at them to see how large they come, though.

Nordstoms has large bra sizes. My daughter is a 36 HH. She orders her bras and swimsuits from Bravisimo.com SHe orders a few differents styles and assorted sizes to try on. Then we ship the rest back.

From looking at the links above, the “Last Resort Bra” is the Enell bra. I have one of those and when I wear it the girls don’t move at all. It is available on Amazon or through the Enell.com website. Their sizing is unique so you have to know or take your measurements and check the sizing chart on their website. It is a front closure bra with a bunch of little hooks to do up but it does work really well when properly fitted.

I'm a fan of Lane Bryant, but I don't have any experience with their sports bras. They are great with larger sizes though, and the bras are so comfortable, and with bras I like being able to go to a storefront and try different styles.

I'm a 32G and have had success with the shefit bras and panache ultimate fit high impact underwire bras. I run 5-6 miles 3ish times a week.
