Everyone does not need to be on your account, though that is an option (with drawbacks, as you mention). I think Malcon10t was saying everyone has everyone on their own account. The same ticket can be scanned into multiple accounts- the system "knows" it's the same ticket.
I suppose it depends a little on the nature of your party if you want everyone to have everyone's ticket in their account or if each person just has their own. If you are the only one, it will be a little bit of hassle at least the first time as you will have to stand at the turnstile to get each person scanned in. At that first scan a paper ticket will be issued (and a photo taken) so from that point forward each member of your party would have their own paper ticket as well which could also be used from that point forward. But as PP said- there are multiple other reasons for people get the app (mobile food ordering,
Genie+, ILL etc.) so it might be good for at least the adult/teen members of your party to get the app and create their own accounts.
