Large group ADRs

Hey there. Our traveling party for wdw in August is a total of 9 people (3 families) and while we are not planning on eating every meal together one or two dinners might be nice. What restaurants are most likely to be able to accommodate a larger group?
My family of 5 is staying at CBR with the other 4 at Riveria. We also have park hoppers so in park or anything along the skyliner route is optimal.

Homecomin’ was the only restaurant that let me make an ADR online for our December trip for our entire party of 9. I ended up calling for the rest, and we were split into various group sizes. However, we arrived a few minutes early, checked in with the CM (not via mobile) and told them we’d appreciate being seated together, and were seated all at the same table at Beaches & Cream, Biergarten, Mama Melrose, Liberty Tree Tavern and of course Homecomin’. Sci Fi was the only place we were separated, because they don’t have cars that big. Also, some years ago we had a party of 12 at Prime Time, all seated together.

We are a group of 8, two families of four and I was so worried about dining! We did so much better than I thought we would. We had to split Topolinos into two reservations of 4 but everything else was pretty easy.

I wanted Boathouse but they are not currently taking reservations for groups bigger than 6, I need to keep checking in there.

Each restaurant will try to seat you together if possible but in some situations they may not be able to. Have a great vacatio!

We are a party of eight and were able to snag one reservation with the exception of Topolino's (as another user also posted above) and Grand Floridian Cafe:

Trattoria al Forno

Be Our Guest
Chef Mickey's
Wine Bar George (Had to call the restaurant)
Via Napoli

For Topolino's Terrace, there aren't that many large tables - they are able to easily sit 8 adults and 1 child at a table, but anything more may spill into the walkways.

We were able to do a party of 8. They sit you at one of the large circular tables.

Thanks so much! I am going to try and get one this week when our 60 day mark comes up. I assume you just selected it on MDE? Or did you call in for it?

Luckily I was able to book directly on MDE. Calling in has been brutal. Will you be able to book for 60+ days? If so, I would try to book it a little later in the week as it’s typically better for larger parties.

We are only doing a couple days at Disney parks, not in a resort so we are limited to day of. But we are flexible on the day we go to MK, so I will get up at 6am (I believe is the time it opens, correct me if I am wrong) and check each day and hope for something. Also hoping to snag HomeComin'.

Circling back here...we ended up doing quite a bit of QS, which worked out fine.

Did character breakfast at topilinos with a res of 4 and of 5. Times were 45 mins apart so we didnt try to combine.

Had great luck with via Napoli though! Booked a res of 4 and of 5 15 mins apart. Showed up early and explained the situation. We were all seated together at a large table about 10 mins after our second res time!
