I am thinking about getting a LapTop.
For those of you that have one, what are some of the things that you don't like about LapTop's?? What are some things that you like about them?

I like my laptop cause it's light and you can take it with you anywhere, but what I don't like it that it doesn't have the number pad on the side of the keyboard. and that my arms get red lines from having my hands over the keyboard.

There isn't anything I don't like about my laptop.
Other than it's slow sometimes.
I love my laptop.

Same same about the red lines. But laptops are also bad, because you can't use the Num lock key, and unless you have a mouse, you have to use a mouse pad. Plus they're expensive. But their cool.

I like everything about my laptop, but the mouse pad. I had to get a wireless mouse, because the mouse pad just annoys me sometimes.

the only thing i hate about my laptop is if you have wireless internet you can go anywhere you want to work on school stuff BUT you always have to find a place near a power outlet lol

Secondly, laptops get very hot very quickly and if they crash, there is no bringing them back from the dead.

I dont have a laptop but I use my parents sometimes.

I like that you can take it anywhere.
I dont like that it gets super hot and the stupid mouse thing.

i like it its light and i sit in wherever not at a desk the screen can get flimsy and you may want to get a mouse some touch pads are jumpy

I greatly dislike them other than the wireless factor.

But good lord, when I would type on my brothers laptop, my hand would hit a key that puts me like halfway up my paragraph typing into a different word. It made me want to scream.

I don't like that my plug keeps coming out , and my mouse thingy doesn't work bc its all sticky.

Try getting one of those portable mouses.

Mines a Dell Inspiron 1501.
I absolutely love it.

that's not true I "brought mine back from the dead" twice and it's 4 years old. But I don't like that it gets hot easily and I am about to go through my 3rd battery since I got the computer. I also don't agree with the dell is good thing because they are really expensive and I feel really cheaply made. the corner of my computer came off, I had to get a new hard drive and 2 new batteries, and the computer crashed twice. When I graduate I am getting a new laptop and I am deffinately NOT getting another dell.

I don't think you should get a laptop untill you really need one. I don't see the point of having a laptop if you are not connected to a wireless system and if you are at home all the time to use a desktop. I got a laptop because I went to boarding school and it's just easier than going to the library everytime I want to use the computer and my school has wireless all over campus, I also have wireless at home.

The only thing I don't like is using that pad for a mouse, which can be fixed by using a mouse made for the laptop.
Other than that, I love it.
