i just got a new laptop today(which is bittersweet because i've wanted one forever, but i only got it because my desktop died and i can't revive it lol) and i want to find a nice case for it.

and i don't want something boring like plain black or gray...i like glittery/sparkly things....so any ideas where i can find cool cases like that?

or even a Tinker Bell case would be great!

Bettseyville sometimes has some that are pretty different! :thumbsup2

I actually got a cute one from Office Max right before Halloween; try as I might, I can't find a pic of the stupid thing online. It's pink & faux leather and is a tote-style bag that still holds the laptop securely yet is a breeze to get through airport security because all you have to do is lift the laptop right out. It was made by Franklin Covey; the only tag I can find inside it says "Agenda by Franklin Covey." As I recall, I got it on sale for something like $65. Love it!

I want one with butterflies and purple on it. :) No luck yet.....I'll be watching this thread tho! :)

thanks for the rec's guys, i'll have to check them out! i looked at Best Buy and Target and didn't really find anything yet. i'll have to try Office Max soon

do you like Vera Bradley? I've seen some really fun laptop cases on the Vera Bradley website (looked them up after seeing some in a luggage store in an airport)

You can find a ton of unique laptop sleeves on Etsy.

I second the poster who suggested LeSportsac. I have a sleeve for my iBook and a bigger briefcase-type bag for my Dell laptop and I love them both. The briefcase-type bag cost something like $98 new, though, so check to see if you have a LeSportsac outlet store near you, or try Ebay.

eBags.com has lots of styles. And I am always getting a discount offer from them.

I keep finding nice ones but they do not fit the power cord in them, just the laptop itself. I am using an old Lands end briefcase that someone gave my spouse. It is not an item that we would ever carry for that use, but for my laptop crap it works ok, except I have to be very careful about carrying it around as it is soft sided.

thanks guys! still haven't found anything yet, but i'm still looking!

did you ever try ebags? They have some really cute sleeves
I am presently designing a skin for mine from www.skinit.com
I might use pictures of my dogs

yeah i looked on ebags and i couldn't really find anything.

i don't want some boring black/blue/green bag like everyone else has, you know?? but i also don't want some really gaudy looking pattern or something

maybe i'm too picky lol. lately i've been using this bag i actually got while i was at Disney a few years ago, it's got Tinker Bell and Cinderella's Castle in the backround.

i should get a sleeve for it tho if i'm just using that bag.

I personally LOVE the Vera Bradley laptop portfolios. They're very durable.
My current case, though, almost looks like a purse. I got it from TJ Maxx for $17 :goodvibes about three years ago-- it's super cute-- quilted magenta with black leather, strong straps. Plenty of room for notepads, laptop, and power cord.
