lap top and internet in hotel

stupid question well to me ,anyway last year we stayed at pors and they had internet connection in the room ,but this year we are staying at best weston on id in august and they have no internet service in room.

i have a basic dell lap top and need to know about wireless and how i go about setting this up and how much it will cost to get the right accessory for lap top and are they any good ?

they might have this info on the hotel web site just checked there site out and they offer free wireless,so as long as your laptop is wifi compatable you should be ok.if you use your laptop over here on wifi you will be able to use it over there.if not you would have to buy a wirless card to slot into your laptop

they have internet in the lobby ,but i would like to look at the internet in my room .

If there is no access in the room then you have to have a Data card to connect. Example on vodaphone website but you have to sign up to 12 month contract at £25/month then pay £4.25/MB while abroad, also cost £49 to buy.

I always try book a Marriott hotel now, they have free wireless access in every room, going in 2 weeks for 25 nights, Courtyard by Marriott LBV £25/night great fast access.
