I was at my local TDS today and someone else asked about lanyards at the store. The CM said they sent them all back to the parks when they stopped selling pins.
I know you can buy lanyards at the park, they have some cute lanyards with pins for trading. the princess lanyard is pink and comes with 4 pins, 2 for keeping and 2 for trading.
I have seen a pretty shade of blue and a lime green, but not sure which is available now.
If your daughter is planning on keeping the pins you should do what I did with some of my keepers. I picked up a nice framed corkboard message board and painted the cork. You can pick a color that she likes. I did mine in black and put a 1 inch border of red all around the edge. It looks like it has a matt around the cork with the red border. Then put the pins she wants on the cork. She can rearrange them as she sees fit and use the lanyard she has for her new traders this trip. that way she will have more money for new pins.
Also, don't forget to hit the outlets if you have a car and pick up some of the discounted pins for her to trade with. She can use these pins for trading with the CM's and it will save your pocketbook some cash. If you need directions send me a PM and I will get them out to you. Peggie
