Lanyard Question

I bought two lanyards today. One for Hubby and one for me. The around the neck type. I saw that they had wristband ones too at the store I went to(didn't get those). I also got the plastic holders that you put the cards in, that goes on the lanyards. I bought a package of 12 plastic holders. We are a family of 4(Hubby, me, and two children). How many cards will we have total? One ticket each, express passes for hotel and room cards? 12 plastic holders should be more than enough, right? Also the lanyards wont fall off our necks during some rides or could they? Should I have gotten wristband ones instead? I just remember Disney a few years ago, we only had one card for each of us and the kids. Didn't do the lanyard thing then. I was always dropping the cards by accident when taking them out to be scanned.

I personally got a serious Witz brand lanyard case. It's heavy duty plastic and waterproof and is easy to open. Got it from rei for not much at all.

It hangs from my Ravenclaw lanyard. I can put my ID, credit card, room key, a bit of cash, an the express pass. I put the EP on one of the outsides so they can scan it through the plastic.

We had experience of the light plastic pouches tearing and falling off. So we don't use those. Not even the cute ones sold at the parks.
