Land's End backpacks -- 50% off 8/7 -- How's the quality?

I see that today Land's End backpacks are all 50% off with free shipping.

But how is the quality on them? We've got an LL Bean that's lasted for years and still going strong, so I'm happy we paid a bit more to get so much wear. I thought I had heard in the past that Land's End bags were also awesome quality, but I wanted to survey if that's still the case before I potentially buy one.

Hit or miss for us. We had one last forever and one that fell apart before the school year was up.

Nike bookbags have lasted like iron for us. Those things still look new after being used for multiple years.

We always get Lands End. i swear by them. I buy my children a new one every other year because they want a new style or design. But after the two years the bag is still in great shape (just dirty from kid-use).

My son got two years out of one before he wanted a new style and we got three years out of the next one. He wants a different style/brand for high school though. We never had any issues with quality. They are great bags.

I agree with the previous two posters. We’ve been very happy with them. My son wants a new one this year, but he’s had his LE backpack for two years and it literally shows no wear whatsoever. I’m going to keep it for travel purposes.

My DD15's is 5 years old and looking great. She wanted a new style, so I use it as my Disney World bag now.

Love them! My son just started second grade and has been using his daily, year-round, since the summer before kindergarten. Barely shows any wear and tear. The only reason we replaced it is that he's going to need a bigger size because he has more books this year.

I'm late but two kids are 3 years in on theirs. Lunch boxes seem to be not quite the same. My son has to replace his after one year (but I did hand onto it for back up). Now, this year I figured between two half used up lunch bags he'll probably be OK for the year. My daughter's lunch box is still great after it's 3rd year.
