Landry's Select Club- deferring birthday rewards question

When we signed up for the card in Las Vegas this spring our waitress suggested it could be any date, not just my birthday. I picked our Anniversary. Even if the date doesn't work for your trip you still get priority seating and don't need a reservation.

When you sign up you can list January as your birthday month. Landry's won't check.

I wish I had thought of this when we first signed up. We have all birthdays in the summer and we mostly only dine at Landry's in WDW but we never ever visit in the summer. So the reward usually goes to waste. We did end up taking my twins to our local RFC this year though and it's the same month as mine so we were able to use it. We'll probably just make it a tradition now but it would have been ideal for me to pick a month we are usually in Disney.

I am not sure why you quoted me and then added the above. I was in no way commenting on you, but more in my frustration that I can't use my reward in sept since it will expire in August
