Thank you!! I usually do the Costco deal for 20% off but this is even better.

I stacked it with my 5% back on Chase Freedom’s bonus this quarter. Kicking myself for not going through Rakuten for yet another 5%. I may just pick up another $50 just because it’s a great deal.

It would make it $29.30 for $50 or 41% discount.

Yak and Yeti is getting so expensive that this plus my $25 birthday bonus will make it more reasonable

Update: I bought two $50 cards through this promo. No problems using multiple times. I received the email with access to the card within minutes. From there I had to go through a few extra steps to actually download the egift card. I then kept a screenshot and stored the number in my notes (I write it down on a piece of paper for the server at the restaurant).

I also checked the balances on the landry website to confirm they were legit. At a 41% discount, they were a no brainer.

I’m a little confused. The Landry’s gift card terms and conditions say the cards cannot be used with any other discount offer. “Card is not valid in combination with any other discounts, promotional cards or discount coupons, online offers or other special pricing or promotions”. I have an AP and it sounds like I can’t use the gift card and get the AP 10%.

I also have a Landry’s card with $25 in rewards. Can I redeem my reward at Yak and Yeti and pay with a gift card ?

We used this for Christmas Day lunch at Saltgrass. It was so awesome. We had a $25 reward from Saltgrass as well as the $50 gift card here. And we didn't have to pay a dime for our Christmas Day lunch. It was so awesome.

I've used gc and my Rewards but obviously they can change that at any time.

I have a vague memory of being told I couldn't get the AP discount and Rewards, don't remember if that meant I couldn't use my rewards when getting the AP discount or just that I wouldn't earn rewards on purchases that got the AP discount.

Some mangers will allow you to stack gift cards with a discount (coupon, 10% AAA/ AARP/ AP). But you don’t earn rewards points when you use a gift card.

Do the Landry's GC's work at the quick-service location outside of Yak and Yeti? We eat there a lot, but we've never actually tried Yak and Yeti yet.

EDIT: I think I found the answer...and it appears to be no....

....but I looked at the Y&Y menu and I cannot believe we have never eaten there! WOW! I cannot wait to try it!

In January I used a Landry’s gift card with my Annual Pass discount. Nobody said anything; I had no idea there were any issues with that.

I think perhaps the issue here is someone tried to use the ‘rewards’ gift card along with another discount …. They will not allow both of those to be used but can’t see an issue using a purchased gift card along with a discount such as AP or DVC ….
