Land/Sea veterans...luggage question....

I was wondering if any of the all-knowing, wise and wonderful Diser's could answer this question for me??

When our plane lands....where do we meet up with the DCL rep? Do we wait on the bus while they gather our luggage or do they whisk us to our resort and our luggage will follow?

I'm obviously anxious to hit the parks as soon as the plane touches down. Why can't we check in and get our passes at the airport and then they could just drop us off at the park of our choice?

You will meet up with the DCL reps at the airport and they will take you down to the bus. You will not have to touch your luggage because it will have the little blue tags on it and will be delivered to your hotel. The bus will take you to your Disney resort where you will meet another DCL rep and they will make sure you have all of paperwork in order and then direct you to check in with the resort. Once you have your Key to the World card, go enjoy your day. Have fun, I know we did.

1. It is a point-to-point shuttle, not a taxi service?..
2. Disney parks do not operate at the airport.
3. Go to on-line ticket vendor and buy park tickets before leaving home.
4. Ship luggage to resort. Fly to MCO, then take Mears shuttle to park from MCO, then take disney bus to resort from park when you're ready to check in.

The above was not a serious question............I was being sarcastic

In our past experience....We never saw our luggage after we checked it at our home airport until we got back to our room. We checked in at the POLY and got our KTTW cards and enjoyed a full day in the park. NO WORRIES... I LOVE DISNEY

They will place you on the bus and as soon as it is full, you are off to your resort. We got into our room about 2 hours after landing and our luggage was there already. Then we were off to enjoy the parks.
