land /sea port question

when you do land sea and dcl takes you to the port do you stand in line to check in at desk? or just get in line for boarding?

You do the cruise check-in at the resort. All you need to do to get on the ship is show photo ID and your Key to the World Card.

do they give you a navigator at the resort for first day on ship?

Nope.
You get your first Navigator in your room unless you stop by guest services when you board the ship. Guest services in on the far side of the lobby when you board.
The worst thing about the transfers from the resort to the ship is that you don't get there till about 1:30PM-2PM. So you'll be in the thick of the ressie scramble. However you have time to eat at either Beach Blanket, deck 9, or Parrot Cay, deck 3. With transfers, at least your room should be ready by the time you board.

what is the earliest time the bus will pick you up at resort? can you register child any time for oceaneers lab?

I don't know what the earlyest bus is as we did AK untill noon and caught a special bus from there.
But you can register for the club/lab anytime I would sugest during the opisit dinner seating than you have, we reg. at the open house and it wasen't to bad a little crowded but they had CMs in the halls outside signing kids up
